Authentic Japanese

Loved the food here! The fish is ocean-fresh, the wagyu beef melt-in-your-mouth tender. Service is excellent. This is the first time that I tried Japanese food. I thought it was so spicy, but luckily it passed my taste. Now I always want Japanese food but unfortunately there's none in our place, thus the saying once tasted always wanted. I f ever I can travel again in Makati, I hope to taste once again the Japanese food.... More

I had high hopes and expectation for this restaurant because of its amazing reviews and it is the most expensive japanese restaurant in town. I was utterly disappointed for the following reasons. 1. Their waiters/waitresses lack the finesse which I expect for a 5 star Japanese restaurant. There are only 5 groups of people dining at that night and I... More

As many have noted, the place is not cheap at all but the quality of their sashimi is unmatched in Makati. Incredibly fresh and wonderfully crafted. For those unwilling to spend too much, I'd recommend the sashimi lunch deal which is very good value for money (sashimi, tempura, rice, miso soup and two extra little bowls of food for less... More

The place for Sushi in the country as they have a couple of Japanese chefs at the counter (Taishos!!) They obviously run a tight ship. You pay for quality though, as this place is not cheap. The rest of the dishes are average and severely overpriced though. But if you're after Sushi, this is the place, suck it up! Can't... More

Food was alright overall. We ordered miso soup, which I found to be alright. The sashimi platter, with seven kinds, was served fresh, which I appreciate and expect from a Japanese restaurant. The Daikon salad, as suggested by our server, was okay but you may skip it. Finally, I had tempura, while my friends had katsudon and beek teriyaki, which... More

The most authentic Japanese restaurant in town. Tsukiji has some of the freshest seafood selection. My go to dish in this place would be the miso gindara which is cooked perfectly every single time. Their nabeyaki udon is exceptional too! Another favorite would be the hotate (scallop) sushi and their chirashi don. This place is a bit pricey, can't beat... More

Some of the dishes were great, the maguro sashimi was one of the best I've had. Others were very disappointing, especially the wagyu sashimi - horrendous, at least to my taste. I found the price to be outrageously high, especially given that neither the service nor the atmosphere justify the astronomical expense. All in all, I will try to avoid... More

Authentic Japanese restaurant in Chino Roces. People come here for the skewers and spicy tuna salad which are reasonably priced. Their gyu kushiyaki (beef skewer) are a hit. Be sure to come early because the place is always packed! No frills Japanese food.

This restaurant is a little pricey if you are watching your wallet - but if you are interested in quality, and you are a foodie, then this restaurant should be on the list. The sashimi is melt in the mouth fabulous. When I visit, my favorite thing to do is to grab a beer and go our onto their wrap... More
