Excellent sashimi and sushi. Quality ingredients and big portions. Disappointed with the Ohmi sirloin though. For the price I was expecting something that melts in your mouth but there some tough pieces. Also, the meat was very salty and it somewhat diminished the flavor of the sashimi.

It dis not look like the old, big and famous Japanese restaurant I used to go to at Greenbelt. There weren't so many tables. It is tucked away at the 3rd level of a building more popularly known for Milky Way restaurant. And so I was pleasantly surprised when I was invited there for lunch. I had the sushi lunch,... More

I went to Tsukiji with my husband to celebrate my birthday, since I did want some peace and quiet. I have to admit that I felt that the food was slightly overpriced as I can get the almost the same quality of sashimi in a resto I used to go to at Little Tokyo. The service was also average with... Having been to several Japanese restaurants in the Philippines, nothing beats Tsukiji. The freshness, selection, ambiance, and drink selection no one can equal Tsukiji. It's pricey but you'll get your money's worth. The only issue for me is the parking. You must arrive at 11:30am for lunch to get a parking slot.

Typical Japanese restaurant set-up, overwhelmingly average décor. However, once we got past that, the food quality was outstanding. Particularly enjoyed the Wagyu Steak, by far the best and certainly the Grilled Hamachi and Salmon was exceptionally well done. Would definitely go back again.

I sometimes have difficulty finding healthier options in Manila. Tsukiji is authentic and the fish is fresh. I had sashimi and tempura set. Delicious.

I try to eat at Tsukiji whenever I'm in Manila. The seafood is fresh, competently prepared by well trained chefs and the service staff have been there for years and make it a point to remember regulars. Pricing is reasonable compared with (say) Inagiku at Shangri-la - which has the price premium of a deluxe hotel location. Often see Japanese... More

We had a really enjoyable visit to this place last year so we decided to visit again. We were quite disappointed this time. We ordered the "High Quality Sashimi Platter" at P4000 (~ US $ 80) and some appetizers along with soups. The platter was quite small and two of the 7 types of fish were Uni and Shrimp. The... More

The subject speaks for itself. But the first overshadows the latter. Service was a little slow to think its a Sunday. But the food lived up to its reputation and value for money.

This is one of the closest you can get to eating at Tsukiji Market without having to fly to Tokyo. Hands down one of the best sushi and sashimi places in Metro Manila. Food is prepared very well, making the most of its extremely fresh ingredients. Eating here is a real treat. It's a great place for authentic Japanese fare.
