This was my first visit to Manila and wanted to have some Indian food. Went to this place as it was just 200 meters from Fairmount Makati. Hoping to get taste of Indian food. Ordered Chicken Briyani and cucumber raita. Quite disappointed with taste of Briyani as it had no flavors of Briyani. It was tasting like some masala rice... More

Good food - we enjoyed 5 dishes - served promptly (see photo). I found the TV movie playing in the restaurant loud and inappropriate, but as soon as I asked it was changed and turned down. Prices were reasonable. Location by Glorietta mall is convenient.

We frequent New Bombay Restaurant in Glorietta, Ayala Center. This is our go-to place for quick, no frills Indian food. But, it has been a while since we ate here. The interiors looked brighter. That's a plus. However, the cushions on the bulky maroon chairs have lost its foam. You're really sitting on the wooden seat. The tables and chairs... More

As I'm a Malaysian, grew in a Multi-culture nation, we used to have different cuisine in one day. For sure, I love Indian food as well. Roti Canai, mutton curry, Nasi briyani and more and more and more. Mutton Curry go with Nan in New Bombay taste 80% like Roti Canai go with meat curry sauce!! Yah, sometimes I felt... More

I am a curry fundi... We ordered lamb curry and lamb biryani with garlic naan bread. The biryani was most disappointing, especially as the chefs are Indian! I asked to speak to the chef but he refused. They simply took overcooked basmati rice and drenched it with a curry sauce. It was NOT a true biryani. The lamb curry was... More

New Bombay has a decent variety of Indian food for both veg and non-vegetarian options and is quite easy to reach being located bang opposite the garden. Good service.

This goes for all of the New Bombays, my personal fav being the one at Glorietta 3. Standards are consistently good and the numbers of Indians who eat there also confirm that it must be good !

This store in Leviste use to provide that authentic feel while eating. They changed the seats, the plates are dirty and stained, they backed up the prices. If they would bring the old feel , banana leaves , well maintained place and happy servers, they can get more patrons. Suggestions: • music + smell of spices • don't bring deliveries... More

Right from the Chicken Shorba (soup) to the tandoori chicken, mutton kadai, tandoori prawns, the mutton biryani, the gulabjamun (dessert) it was just perfect, pure Indian cuisine, unlike most places where you find watered down variants. I was delighted to see people from the Philippines, Malaysia, Africa, the US, India, Japan, enjoying the delicacies in that small but homely space.... More

The taste of India at hand! This is at par compared to the other Indian Restaurant in the Philippines so far. All the food that is being offered will definitely fill your cravings! A must try!
