Shang Palace the go to place for good dim sum, sure to not disappoint. The stir fried beef tenderloin, orange prawns and spicy beef shin appetizer are excellent as well.

For starters, the ambiance that the place evokes upon entering already bodes well for a superb Chinese dining experience. We availed for lunch the Dim Sum buffet. Although it took a while for them to serve the food, we learned that they made it from scratch. Thus, it was worth our while to wait and finally taste fresh and delicious... More

it was a relaxing delightful dining with close friends. can't resist the 50% discount they gave to high end visa card holders. the foods served were all of top quality. service was quick fast attentive and courteous. there was ample space for diners to enjoy their own space of privacy. it is worth the visit especially to celebrate milestones in... We are fans of dim sum, I have known that shang palace in shangrila hotel always offer yum cha lunch with unlimited dim sum. I have tried their yum cha in dubai and abudhabi and the food was just awesome, authentic dim sum, best service. We were there on Monday but restaurant was full. Restaurant little bit dark... Free flow... More

We went in quite late for dinner so the restaurant was nearly empty. As we were keen to have vegetarian dishes, the staff helped us in customising the dishes to our liking. Service was quite good too. Helpings were quite large and the dishes were priced very reasonably for a restaurant in a five star hotel. Strangely however the Chinese... More

I went here with a friend shortly after a breakfast meeting so by the time we got there by 11am, I was not yet very hungry. We were the first ones to come in but the restaurant slowly became packed towards lunchtime. Service was excellent. Everyone was very accommodating and the staff would pass by from time to time to... Until now, I still remember the first time I ate at shang palace. It was the unforgetable siomai ( dimsum) that makes me want to go back there. although a bit pricey, but it's worth it.

Food in Shang Palace is overpriced, mainly because it is located within a 5* hotel; and the place is overrated, because it is believed to be the place to be seen. Admittedly, the restaurant boasts of a lovely interior and great ambience. But if you are after food taste/quality, this place is way too average and there are far better... More
