At around 8000 pesos per head for average food and wine its a rip off. Forgetful waiters and one toilet for the 50 seat restaurant make for a spoilt night. Better value in Greenbelt.

One of the better restaurants in the city. Very good food from appetiser to dessert. But quite pricey, so I suppose that is still value for money.

I went there with my husband last December 2016 during our very short stay in the Philippines. We originally planned to go to Blackbird Makati but unfortunately, it was closed for a private event. The concierge from our hotel recommended and booked us in Sala instead. When we arrived at the restaurant the host can't find our names from the... More

I was invited by a colleague to a wine tasting to be held at Sala in Makati City. The restaurant is of a very high quality with very professional staff. From reception to goodbye everything was just perfect. The food presented was of the highest quality and prepared by professionals indeed.

If you are looking for ambience, Sala is the place. Menu is limited and not for ordinary palate. I could not understand what the names of the food meant. Perhaps, very Frenchy. So we opted for the Executive Lunch. Barley soup is good, the fish was good as well, but the serving is small. We also had to ask for... More

Sala is one of the better Western style restaurants we’ve been to in the CBD. Ambiance is first rate and intimate, service is very good, food is very good. This isn’t budget fare but, in this case, it’s worth it. We’d go back.

I have always wanted to go there but they are fussy about reservations and this time I managed to get a table without any fuss at the last moment. I opted for the a la carte instead of the tasting menu. I had the buratta and I think it is one of the best buratta I have had. They paired... More

We had a perfectly fine meal here one evening recently. However, it is very hard to justify their price point. I've had much better food for much less money and, frankly, the atmosphere is nothing special. I can see coming here for fancy business meetings or special occasions. Otherwise, save your money and pick something more down to earth and... More

Without a doubt this is one of my favorite restaurants here. Delicious food, stellar service & pleasant soothing ambiance. The homemade mushroom ravioli never fails; other favorites are the twice baked prawn soufflé and any of the steaks. Desserts here also never disappoint- my personal favorites are the chocolate soufflé which comes with Tahitian Vanilla bean icecream and chocolate sauce... More

I hadn’t visited for a year or so and was very pleased to see the quality of food and service had if anything improved from the previous high standard. The restaurant has a six seater round table with heavy white table cloth perfect for a good chat over a couple of bottles of wine. Service is excellent with plates appearing... More
