Our Chef was gracious and entertaining. The meals were quickly prepared and were seasoned nicely. Portions were a little on the small side for the rice. The meat portions were appropriate. Nice and clean restaurant. We would go back again.

Previously have had good experiences with this Ichiban but this was not the case this time around. Half of our party's meals were average. The other half? They didn't receive what they ordered even after the Habachi "chef" confirmed their selections. We watched rather dumbfounded...More

I had read about Ichiban on Trip Advisor and booked a hibachi table for our family (adult children and grandchildren). As soon as we were seated, I knew it was a mistake. Right next to our table (within 3 feet) was a slop bucket filled...More

Visited for our adult son's birthday (3rd or 4th visit for us - many more for him). Three adults, one child. You can either choose a regular table for dinner, or choose a Hibachi chef to make your dinner and add some entertainment while you're...More

The sushi was absolutely delicious! Very well prepared with fresh ingredients. The prices were reasonable for sushi and there was a huge variety. We did not try the hibachi this time but it looked pretty good. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The service was...More

Quick service and you can't beat the lunch specials. Three rolls for under 11.00 with soup & salad. They also have available a two roll special.

We always have good food and service here. Sushi is very good and we love doing the hibachi. Never had an issue here and the prices are relatively inexpensive.

Good time for everyone. Choose the hibachi table. Go with a larger group of 6 or more. The chief cooks your food right in front of you. He will do tricks and surprise you with his skills.

Always worth a visit. The hibachi is always fun, and the rolls are as pretty as they are delicious! If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary when you're in Auburn, definitely give Ichiban a try.

Although it can be expensive, Ichiban's food is consistently good, and the grill is always fun & entertaining. Granted some of the chefs are more outgoing than others. Great entertainment for kids who don't like to sit at the table otherwise.

Depending on which part of Syracuse you're coming from, Route 5 is usually the best way. You can get by the Thruway but that includes 8 miles through Weedsport.
