This seems to be an institution in Puno. Specially if you are looking for local food with nice ambiance. Prices are very reasonable and lots of local come to eat or takeaway their half chicken

We went there for dinner based on the recommendation of our hotel. We ordered 1/4 chicken each and enjoyed the dinner at a low price of 11 Sol. each. Can't beat that price for a good dinner. The location is ideal.

We ate roasted chicken, very delicious, french potatoes, good, and purple corn refreshing water. The staff were kind and fast too. Just the place is small.

This restaurant has two parts. The seating area in front appears to be finer dining with a show. They take credit cards in this section. We visited the dining area in the rear. No credit cards accepted but the prices are very low. Two drinks and two quarter chicken dinners amounted to 28 sols - about $9US. Can't beat that!... More

Very busy restaurant, I think it would be best to book but they managed to fit myself and my friend in for dinner. There was a show with traditional Peruvian dancing and music and the food was really nice and fresh.

While the rotisseri chicken was excellent and very tasty with its various spices, it was a bit disconserting afterwards to encounter a baby mouse on the floor as I visited the restroom.

Our guide took us here or we would not have found it. The speciality is Rotisserie chicken which was excellent. Each night there is a floor show for about an hour of traditional Peruvian music and dancing for which there is no charge, just a tip for the dancers. If you want to avoid this sit at the back of... A good place for first-timers in Puno or Peru itself. The place is a restaurant-cum-show place (however, there's no extra fee for watching the show). The Andean dances presented were similar to those we had seen at Pena Huari, La Paz, Bolivia but the performers here were of somewhat leeser skill. The food... well, we went balistic in the sense... Our tour guide recommended this restaurant for the chicken, and the show was a complete surprise! Most of our group got the rotisserie chicken, which they said was very good. I got aji de gallina, which was delicious. My friend's trout skewers were a little fishy tasting, but the veggies and sweet potatoes were very good. The service was okay.... More

along jr libertad, this restaurant offers a too loud and folkloristic show that doesnt let you enjoy the dinner! Food is nothing special and moreover it's too pricey for what it offers. not worth at all
