This place was a fantastic find. About 50 soles for a huge and delicious mixed grill for two...our favourite parradilla in 3 months in South America. Good selection of sauces and relishes to accompany the meals. Lots of cheaper options too. Relaxed place... TV was on when we were there, for example. It was a real treat, especially after a... We had dinner, mainly local crowd here. Grilled meet (beef, alpaca) with fries were excellent quality. They also had the cheapest and best pisco sour! Definitely recommend this restaurant.

We just walked by and we liked the looks. Simple and relaxed. Go for it. Just wander what the Beatles are doing here. Local plates are very good. Chic ha morada by the jara is excellent.

Cheap, delicious and close by to our hostel! We had the garlic steak and it was delicious! Drinks were cheap, staff were friendly and we had a great night here. We'll be back!

Just came back from dinner here. The pisco sours were very good (and only 5.5 soles) and our food portions were large. We were the only tourists in the place and everyone eating around us greeted us as they came and went. Service was also excellent. If you like meat, there is a grilled plate that was very inexpensive and... More

Always a good recommendation when a large local family party comes to eat whilst we were there. It has a cafe style presentation but don't be fooled the food is very good, freshly cooked and large quantities. It is just off the main pedestrian street where there are more expensive menus but this one does an even better dinner.

This restaurant is definitely a family-style place with cafeteria-like tables and pleasant service. Lots of multi-generation families in the restaurant when we were there for dinner. Tasty pisco sours at a very reasonable price. We ordered the BBQ platter plus a separate chicken and potatoes dish for the children which the staff happily divided onto two plates. The large plate... In a rainy evening we have tried to have food with more local flavour. Eating the grills on the table, with local meat, beer and wine was excellent. The rooms are simply decorated but the food was great!

This is a very good restaurant in Puno, 5 minutes from the pedestrian street. I went there with my wife on a recent visit to Peru. The food was in big quantity and very tasty: I had alpaca grilled meat with mashed potatoes and my wife grilled huge piece of pork - both very good. The price was OK, actually... More
