this place is in travel books as a good little sitdown while you are shopping or looking around in puno. we happened on it, and recognizing the name, gave it a try.the ambience is limited, but the pastries and the coffee were good, the price reasonable, and with renewed strength, we set out to find the perfect alpaca sweater or... We stopped in on several occasions over the course of several days in Puno. Snacks, lunch, something for dessert, they had it all covered. The empanadas were very good, especially the pastry, although they could heat them for a bit longer. The salchipapas were a bit dodgy for my taste, but the Chileans thought they were alright! My churro was,... More

Great choice of tasty sweet and savoury pastries for a decent price - good for breakfast options or snacks before you do a boat trip!

Right off the Main Street, Ricos Pan offers a great selection of sweets and also savory foods. We got the chicken empanada, beef empanada and the spinach pie and all 3 were delicious! Their coffee was great as well and all of the cakes looked so tasty but I unfortunately was so full from the empanadas! There was a nice... More

It's been tough to find good coffee in Puno, but Ricos seems to be the best of the bunch. Fresh coffee and delicious cakes and pastries. We visited at 7pm and the place was packed with both locals and tourists. Quick, friendly service. I had a slice of their passion fruit cake which I would highly recommend!

Well, firstly the name has been changed to RICOS CAFE. . My brother and I were roaming about aimlessly in the streets of Puno when we stumbled upon this little cafe. We entered and we saw the most delicious looking pastries and pies. We had Blueberry Mousse Cake and Brilliant de Cafe, both were really good. We also had Hot... More

They have so much bread and desserts at such great prices! I got a caramel filled churro and a slice of chocolate cake. Both were fantastic and I plan on returning for more.

When we arrived in Puno, we were travelling over a week in Peru and our stash of gluten free bread was running low. We searched local panaderias for GF bread and found one item made of quinoa in this place. It was called Krisinios or Crisinios and they were small cookies, crispy, and delicious with marmelade (5 soles per box).... More

We ate here twice during our visit. The cafe con leche is delicious and cheap. We tried the empanadas, salchipapas, croissants, alfajores, pionono and cookies and they were all delicious and so cheap. I didn't get to try the cakes but they looked great and the slices were big. Don't miss this bakery to either sit down and relax in... More
