Amazing! The staff were wonderful and the food was honestly the best we had in our six weeks in Peru. A must visit for anyone going to or through Puerto Maldonado. We visited in the summer of 2014.

We went here on a suggestion from our tour guide. After spending 5 days deep in the Amazon. We were glad to finally have a choice on what we were going to eat and we weren't disappointed.

We had a lovely time at this restaurant. The food was interesting and tasty and the feel of the restaurant was great. We sat outside but there were some bugs. I read a review saying the service was slow but I guess that is part...of the Peru experience and the service is not the manner that we would expect in Australia but that just seems to be the way it is so relax and enjoy not being rushed. Everything is always fresh.More

We went there for lunch after it was recommended by our Tour operator, who also suggested that all tourists go there. The atmosphere is good and it was good to see many locals dining here. We ordered for Chicken Chifa and Mushroom pasta and both...were good. Not extra ordinary or different from all other places we ate. The quantity is huge so order wisely. If you are passing through PM, it is a good place for lunch or dinner.More

Me and my friend have been to this restaurant twice in 5-6 days. The food is good, but we had huge issues with the service: The waiters are quite slow, and we always had to wait a fairly long time for our dishes to be...served. To top it all, both times that we came here the restaurant did not have around 20% (if not more) of the dishes they promised on their menu. As an example, both the times we came here they only had one starter dish and did not have a lot of the main dishes. Overall, would not recommend this place.More

This is one of the best restaurants in the Amazon. The food is awesome! The salad bar is really good. If you pay close attention there is a sloth that comes out during lunchtime. You can see them in the trees.

Nice looking place. Got a table with a terrific view. Waiter gave us a good recommendation on a nice cab-blend wine for about $15 U.S. the Regional Specialties dish had sausages pork and chicken. The ‘buffet’ was ok, but nothing special. The sausage was tasty....Problem was the chicken and pork was as tough as shoe leather and difficult to eat. Nice place, nice view, mediocre food. Too many other places for less than half the cost, with better food. Skip it.More

Our waiter was the highlight of the meal. On his suggestion we ordered the Regional specialty which insisted of bbq’d meats: chicken, pork and sausage. The meal comes with a biggest salad and sauces. The sauces were needed to give the bbq some moisture. The...meal seemed over cooked. Not the waiters fault. A pleasant patio setting.More

Burgos’s is recommend and for the right reasons. Friendly staff, nice outside patio dining and good food. Lomo saltado was delicious, as was the pollo. A salad buffet is included. Only pitty was that they ran out of desserts and (complimentary) tea. All in all...a safe bet.More
