A nice restaurant attached to the Panamonte Hotel owned by author & renown chef Charlie Collins (a celebrity of Central American Cooking) Service was excellent. Lamb chops were delicious. We had salmon the next night I enjoyed it. It is pricey here but not as...pricey as Christopher's in downtown Boquete. Chef Collins was very friendly and even autographed his book T'ach ll for us. We are staying at the inn and breakfast comes with the room This too was very goodMore

We had dinner here when we were in Boquette and enjoyed the evening. The food was quite good and the service was excellent. The prices were reasonable for the food and there were some nice wines. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. You would need...a car or to get a taxi from many places in the area to visit the restaurant.More

My brother and I had a delicious meal. From the shrimp n plantain croquettes, the salad with flowers 🌸 petals, to the creamy risotto, prawns and asparagus. A glass of Pinot Grigio and lemon pie. Perfect meal.

Such a beautiful place. The day we visited they were preparing for the most gorgeous wedding. Initially the told me they could not accommodate me with a drink at the bar given the wedding but in the end they said please have a seat and...enjoy. The staff was very attentive and the drinks delicious. So worth spending a lovely afternoon here.More

This is a rara avis, a white tablecloth restaurant with fresh flowers. The gorgeous dining room matched our delicious dishes. We ordered the local trout and Chilean sea bass and two lovely salads to start. All the food was on point. The waitress was efficient...and professional. Great place in Boquete for a special occasion meal. Recommended.More

Charlie Collins Restaurant at his family’s hotel has been well reviewed, mostly excellent experiences yet there are those that are negative, and I always love to read the latter before dining at iconic places, so here goes my thoughts: Tremendous property, exceptionally kept to character,...yet modern where it needs to be! The service, had the lucky chance to have Delia as our server, 31 years on the property, outstanding in knowledge, disposition, a pure diamond. We had the Boquete Trout & locally raised Angus Beef, both perfect & peeps in Panama City gave direction on desert: had the strawberries with cream - Excellent! Was a busy night in the restaurant with many prominent local families & a big wedding in the AM but as outside guests from a different property, we were well cared for. There are some quirky Panamanian issues with fine dining, learn to adapt to them & this will make your experience memorableMore

Dining at T'ACH is always a delightful experience for the quality of the food, the very attentive service, the exquisite, old time charme and elegance of the overall place, including the garden, the terrace, the outdoor and indoor fireplace at the bar . Through Charlie...Collins' books T'ACH we learned about the very interesting Panamanian gastronomy and the rich culture of Panama. Great tradition, great books, great restaurant. Contratulations Chef Charlie Collins!More

Service was excellent however the food was just the opposite. My dish (octopus) was supposed to come with a coconut curry sauce, but the sparse sauce that accompanied it was tasteless. An attempt to compensate was made by "smoking" the octopus and serving the tentacles...alongside supermarket mango chutney. The juxtaposition of flavors was decidedly unpleasant and the "smoking" overpowered everything. A single choice of either rice, mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables was the only accompaniment at a cost of $24 per plate. The $8 chocolate mousse ordered for dessert had a distinct "burnt pudding" taste and I was unable to finish it. I won't be returning for further meals.More

We had a very nice breakfast in the front porch of this historic hotel. The breakfast was fresh and good. There is a lot of interesting history that is documented through old framed articles on the walls.

We went to T'ach on a fresh windy night in November. We had been touring Panama and dining out each night. We decided to go more formal and visit T'ach. We were very surprised at its good value compared to pizza and steak joints in...both Boquete snd Panama City. While T'ach was relatively quiet, the service was very pleasant and the food was excellent. My wife and I eat out 3/4 times a week and I have many business meals but rarely do we have more than two courses. At T'ach, we both had three courses. My starter of pork belly was really delicious and my risotto with prawns was the best risotto that I have ever had - not too much rice and a generous helping of prawns and vegetables with the saffron sauce. My wife had pumpkin soup and trout and these too were top class. This restaurant deserves to do well. Do not let the more formal colonial style fool you, the prices are very reasonable for such a delightful evening and you should try it if you live in/ visit Boquete.More

So we went to this restaurant as a 'treat' for our trip to Boquete. There were 4 of us: a couple and two friends. We ordered the steaks which were delicious and the tuna tartar [ the tuna had a frozen taste]. Everything was ok...until we got the bill. We asked for separated bills before hand and the three bills had an extra $2 charge for every single dish. When we asked what happened we were given an apology, but no explanation. I am pretty sure we weren't the first ones and definitely we won't be the last ones. The only thing we can advice is to check your bill when you come to this place. It's a shame we didn't take a pic of the bill. We weren't expecting that for sure.More

Highly disappointed of a well recommended restaurant. First our reservation was missing, which is never a great way to start the experience. Then we got two different menus and when we asked the servers were extremely rude telling is if we could read. Then my...sister got ham in her plate, we told them if they could replace as in the menu it did specify that ingredient they asked if it was an allergy we said no she is vegetarian; they took the plate to the kitchen and brought it back and although we knew they only took the ham out we accepted it. Well when in the middle of dinning she finds and entire ham in the other side of the plate.. totally unacceptable. Last my brother asked for a cup of tea, we are still waiting for it No one apologize, no one did anything to fix it. NADA!More

Stopped in for a quick coffee and hot chocolate. I’ve visited this establishment with my family for more than 30 years and it has not changed much. They’ve done a great job keeping up the grounds and there’s a very nice European ambiance about it...due to architecture and furnishings. The coffee and gourmet hot cocoa were excellent, though a bit overpriced. Enjoyed the nostalgia of being back to an unchanging place of my childhood. Beautiful gardens as well, well worth the visit and meal.More
