Everything I've ever tried from their menu has been delicious. Some of my favorites include the mac and cheese, the dates, and the smoked chicken parm. Order the passion of the thirst and thank me later lol

I want to start off by saying stumbling upon this place was a spurr of the moment decision and I am so glad I took the plunge! The staff were incredible and the bartender Eddie mixes the best Manhattan I have had since my Grandad passed away. The depth of flavor and ability to taste each ingredient while still maintaining harmony brought back so many memories that had been tucked away. Our waiter Lu was also absolutely top notch and you can tell he knows umami intimately. You could tell just by the way he described the food that he is proud of every plate that leaves the kitchen! A true rarity now a days! I'm honestly sitting here in a little slice of heaven. One I wouldn't know about unless my original dinner plans were ruined. I haven't felt this at home in an eatery in a long time. 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Also the fried mozzarella is to die for!

I stopped here Monday based on a recommendation. I selected maple mac and cheese which was delicious. The waiters were friendly and ambiance great. The only downside is the lighting which makes the menus hard to read. Will I be back? Yes!

I usually go for Happy Hour 2-3 times a week and the same person always serves me and was asked when I walked in if I wanted a Sauvignon Blanc- I thought that was my happy Hour wine, but at the end it was not and when I expressed my surprise I was told too bad! Not by the guy who had served me. I am not cheap but it is still with the tip a crappy $16 glass of wine - the Happy Hour is half the price but I get the Pinot Grigot. Anyway it seems petty but I felt the attitude at the bar was as well.

The Pomeroy is a good neighborhood restaurant. The television at the bar is a magnet for people within walking distance to watch a sporting event. The cocktails are creative and tasty. The bar also has an assortment of interesting bourbons. The food is adequate, although the Fried Pickles were disappointing. The service was attentive.

We had a very pleasant afternoon at The Pomeroy with burgers and drinks. Burger with cheddar cheese was really delicious, as well as the fries, they were so cripsy! Pretty ambiente, very nice staff. We would love to come again on our next trip to New York!

The Pomeroy has raised the bar in Astoria. The decor is reminiscent of an old pub/resto-lounge/hispter chic.... you know what I mean! It's all the rage now, and it works here. The staff were extremely good, I mean on point. The food was excellent: Scallops seared to sweet perfection, tart and refreshing olive medley and a skirt steak with chimichurri cha ching !!!
I had a couple of Margaritas on Happy Hour special and I was living ! I would go back and order the same exact thing all over again it was that good.

Found this little gem and we were beyond pleasantly surprised! The outside is deceptive for how cute and modern this place is inside. Servers are all friendly & excellent. Delicious huevos rancheros & Pomeroy breakfast. Dutch baby delicious, too. Highly recommend it! They take reservations.

What a great place. To start Freddie our waitress was phenomenal, smart and sassy adorable. Bloody Mary was on point, huevos rancheros were the best I’ve had since in Mexico- seriously. Had brunch with the fam so we were a large party which can be tricky but service and food were wonderful.

We had a really nice evening out at the Pomeroy. The gentleman at the bar was really friendly and accommodating, food was excellent, service prompt, and atmosphere warm. There’s a small town feel to the area, and the Pomeroy fit well into the area.

I said it. It was a brisk fall Sunday and I really wanted to go to forest hills, but there was no parking. So I headed to Astoria instead. Which worked out great! The pomeroy had the windows open and some very decent food! Huevos rancheros was an absolute highlight! Cheesy, nachoey, hang-over curing goodness. Went great with a Bellini!!

Our beers were ice cold and served in a chilled glass which I like. I had the grilled octopus appetizer with asparagus and potatoes, and I was very pleased with it. She had Tamalito a la Norteña, which was ok, but nothing too special. The appetizers came a little bit late, at the same time of the entrées. The service in general was pretty good. I had the Parihuela, which is a fish stew and the flavor was authentic and the seafood was fresh. I liked it. She had Picante de Mariscos which was also a solid dish. So the food was pretty good and authentic, but it was very loud in there and they had a DJ/announcer. We were seated close to a speaker as well, so it was hard to hear each other talk. It was more like eating in a disco then in a restaurant. So we kind of wanted to get out of there quickly. I would eat at this restaurant again, but I'll definitely go back on the night other than karaoke night, which is Friday night.

We had an amazing dinner at the Pomeroy this weekend. The drinks, food and service were all top-notch. Our only complaint was the noise level - it was noisy. Excellent apps. included the polenta fries served with marinara, the fried pickles ("frickles") served with a yogurt dipping sauce and the outstanding poutine (they nailed the fries/gravy/cheese curds ration). Excellent entrees included the king salmon and the fried chicken (entrees were perfectly seasoned, nicely plated and generously portioned). For sides we enjoyed the mashed sweet potatoes and the brussel sprouts. A nice wine list and they make a great Manhattan. This is a great neighborhood spot and we will definitely be back!
