Stumbled on this place the first night my daughter was moving to NY. Three years later, returned for a final meal before she moves out of town. Good food, excellent wait staff, reasonable prices. Tonight tried the lentil soup and it was one of the...best soups I've ever had. They did a combination of lamb kebab and baby lamb chunks because we couldn't decide. Very, very good. Recommend!More

Food is healthy and abundant. Prompt and respectful service. Amiable atmosphere. Their open air patio is paradise in summer. One feels like going back to try all their dishes. Doeners are their forte (I'm biased!)

We ordered 3 meals here and were able to stretch the leftovers into additional lunches. Portions are large! The grilled salmon kabob was very very good. Falafel were tasty and the falafel dinner included enough for 2 meals. Pasta plates are huge. Personally I would...stick with Turkish food here as they do it very well but if you have a pasta craving you can pick meat and sauce. Turkish bread is served with the meal too. Caution the music in the bathrooms is VERY loud!More

Good Mediterranean food in Astoria. Variety of traditional dishes with some unique desserts that we haven't tried before. The gyro and all their meat products are very delicious!

Server was rude, poured beer on me not being apologetic, but his manager said “oh it happens all the time “ Really!! Not worth the money. To make matters worst, they charged me for the spilled beer. Server didn’t follow up after the food was...down, lamb was bland and over cooked. I’m sure there are other options that is worth the money.More

When l go to Astoria l mostly visit this place for lunch or dinner and specially for a good breakfast. It is georgeus to have cigar borek ( feta cheese roll ), menemen Turkish omelette with tomatoes, green pepper, eggs), different kind of cheeses, Turkish...honey, Turkish homemade pide (pita), olives, and tasty Turkish tea. The doner kebab of beef or chicken (gyro),different kebabs, salads (specially shepeard) lahmacun (Turkish pizza) and pitas are very tasty. You have a great choise for soups and mezes too. The deserts are georgeus. Specially l recomend kunefe, sutlac (rice puding), keskul. Revani.. a good quantity of deserts... The service is is quick and kind. And l also recomend you to visit this place in spring and summer and eat at the garden.More

The food at Truva is good, but absolutely not worth the money. A meal that typically costs me around 25 dollars cost me around 65 dollars when I ordered them from Truva. The food was good, but not to the level you would expect to...pay three times the going rate. If you are going to spend that kind of money, you are much better served going to other places around the corner on Ditmars, particularly the seafood spots.More

Great food!! We love Mediterranean style food, and we have been here more than once. And we will be back, our hostess/waitress was super friendly and we had a great time!

We ordered a bunch of stuff but I loved the turkish pizza the most, mostly because it had halal beef pepperoni which is rare to find. Everything else was average.
