I stopped by here for lunch yesterday and sat outside on the sidewalk for lunch. This turned out to be really nice place to eat on a hot and sticky day and an ice-coffee was just what the doctor ordered. I was even more surprised that my entire lunch cost less than $20 even with a refill. Oh, and their... More

Grand cafe is a classic. It is one of the three most popular cafes in Astoria and I can definitely see why. You have your share of locals visiting throughout the day and the servers are mostly friendly and polite. It has been awhile since I was a regular here but the Frappe/float is still great and the menu extensive.... More

Went to have lunch and was ignored by the service staff - maybe it was because I was solo, but I think it was just the way this place is run.

In the midst of lots of cafes on 30th Ave, this one is pretty great! Awesome patio, a long happy hour (3-7) and decently priced food. I had one of the best salads I've ever had at a restaurant (the beet and goat cheese with chicken) and couldn't finish it, and I don't have a modest appetite. Service was okay..... More

This restaurant is mostly for the people who likes to have a group chat and get together for a drink and some food. But they are not specialized in a formal dining. But the ambiance is great and the food is decent as well.

The place is nice. I cannot deny it. The worst cocktails of the city. This is for sure. Margaritas don't taste like margaritas. Cocktails are different. Maybe they changed owner. Also the drinks were bigger before. For 3 cocktails we waited more than 30 minutes. When we ordered food, it took more than 30 minutes. The calamari was tested like... More

Texas girls loved it. Great atmosphere. Kid friendly. And great food. Excellent for a family early evening eating spot.

We decided to go to the Grand Café for coffee and dessert. While we were seated outside immediately, it took forever for our waitress to appear and, when she did, she asked "Were you just seated?" When we said we had been seated for a few minutes she abruptly said "I'll be back" and left. After almost ten minutes she... More

The food quality and taste was good, however the service was super slow which is too bad. They serve organic juices which were great.

Servers you had to hail like a taxi. Ours was void of eye contact and behaved as if taking our food order was above and beyond the job requirement. Brunch "deal" was $17. Location is good, but we now know why other close by eateries had at least a half hour wait and people gladly getting in line. Pros: Four... More
