It’s good if you are in the area and crave some Venezuelan food. All freshly made. Neatly managed, parking is free but wil take time to find one

I haven't eaten at Arepas Grill, but here's why I'm writing a review. My nephew is in hospice in Manhattan (at home) and my sister and brother-in-law have been living in a short-term rental there for 2 1/2 months. They, along with my nephew's wife,...have been living on take-out and doing some cooking. So I ordered food from Arepas Grill yesterday and it was delivered to them by DoorDash. The reviews were astounding! I ordered beef, pork, and chicken arepas, mini empanadas, rice & beans. It was such a nice change from the usual grab and go and everyone raved about the food. Both my sister and her daughter who is now visiting as well are chefs, so their endorsement is huge. Further, they have leftovers as the arepas are huge! Next time I'm in Manhattan - if they ever let us out again - I'm heading to Astoria.More
This restaurant has greatly improved its service to its customers, food menu and taste of its specialty plates. The servers and bartenders are now attentive to the customers and service is fantastic. They even share tastings of small items.
The Patacon was the best I’ve had to date. The meat was seasoned well and the plantains cooked just right. Friendly smiling service added to the goodness of this restaurant.
Stopped here after a nearby business meeting. Wanted to try something different. The food was delicious. Came quickly. Hot sauce was a big hit with us too! Friendly service. Recommended.
our friends used to live in the area so brought us here. we loved our meal. i had the mami arepas and the table had different arepas. none disappointed. the prices are reasonable and the service was good. definitely worth a visit
Staff was friendly and helpful. Food is amazing and inexpensive. Sangria pitcher and dessert will not disappoint.
I had lunch here one rainy day and the food really hit the spot. Great service, quick and friendly. Nice music playing in background. I had a daily special with some great shredded beef, black beans and rice. Great place, would highly recommend.
I went for lunch today for the first time , there is no lunch special so I ordered off the menu .I got the rice ,beans and perino. Price was around $13 . The quantity of food was on the small side but was full...of flavor and very tasty . Their red hot sauce was nice and hot and tasty too.I will be back to try more stuff off the menuMore
If you want a good delicious Venezuelan arepa this is the place to go to! Nice and small place with a delicious menu. I was in the area with my family for one night and took advantage of the great Hispanic food. As I always...say “tip well, or tip toe out” the waiter from Puerto Rico was awesome, friendly and patient with all of us during the hardship of ordering out of all the amazing choices ✨More
We've never had Venezuelan food and Arepas Grill did not disappoint. Everything was excellent and nicely priced. We had the mixed appetizers, chicken soup, salad, arepas beef sandwiches, beef steak with rice and black beans......
Really good Venezuelan food with a family and party atmosphere; the finger foods have a very unique taste and if you like soccer, there's always a game playing on the TV there.
Small restaurant located in small shopping mall. The food is excellent which is really the important thing. I have multiple dishes and they have all been good. I come back here every time I am in the area.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon. Located in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking for this location. Came with my friend and we got the tequenos which were to die for! If u like a crispy exterior with melted cheese on the...inside, you will love this. We also got the patcones with avocado spread on top which was very delicious as well. I decided to get an arepa which was called the mami which was very good. They have a wide variety of arepas so im sure you will find at least one that sounds very appealing. The mami comes with pulled pork, avocado and guayanes cheese. The whole meal was very delicious but the best part was definitely the tequenos :)More
Arepa Grill is in a shopping center in Queens. Its always a pleasure to find a free parking lot in NYC! The restaurant is decorated with local paintings and the music was good, The staff was consistantly very pleasant and friendly. The bathroom was huge...and clean. We tried three Arepas and they were all kind of bland. The sauces picked up the flavor and dryness of the beef. Nothing tasted bad or "off", just very bland.More
