Elias is a good choice for a Greek restaurant in Astoria. The seating is basic but comfortable. Service is friendly and attentive. The food id very solid Greek cuisine. The ingredients are fresh and well prepared. The prices are excellent.

Great place to have fish. Dont mind the appearance, once you are served your fish you will enjoy it. I had Red Snapper and i highly recommend it.

We arrive to find out that because they have no menu we are subject to pay any price. The menu is not even posted indicating the prices of each entree. We paid $30.00 for five small butterflied shrimp that wee over cooked and tough, what a rip off. The food did not have enough seasoning. This place need to be turned over to the attorney general as they only accept cash as payment for food that is not written down with a price so a consumer can make an informed choice as to what they might order and at what value. The food items should be written down with an affixed cost, either visibly posted on a
menu board, on a menu given to patrons and or featured on a website, as I am sure they have enough money to do all the above things as they only accepting cash for payment.

Elias' Corner, a Greek restaurant. is an excellent fish restaurant in Astoria. Portions are large and should be shared. A few meat dishes are also available. My husband and I shared a small greek salad, fried potatoes and Bronzino which the waiter deboned for us.
It was my husband's birthday celebration so they brought us honey balls on the house.

This restaurant has no menu and they do not make reservations. And it is family Greek restaurant.. If you are a lover of fish, seafood and Greek cuisine then you here. All fish is cooked on a charcoal grill. Every day fresh fish. The restaurant opened at 4 pm. The most popular visiting hours are from 9 pm until the restaurant closes. reasonable prices. Anyway You can ask the waiter for a price. You can visit the restaurant as a couple, family or friends. Also you can take out food.
For now it’s my favorite restaurant.

I am only dinging them a lower star because service was a little slow and there is no menu to review. Really they should be getting 4.5 stars. You can only order by looking at their fish display or get recommendations from the waiter. And as noted above, Elias is CASH only restaurant. If you are a first-timer, make sure you tell the waiter and have him or her explain how to order food w/any service charges!
Now the excellent -I ordered a fresh Greek salad and the St Peters Fish. Boy, it was the best fish I have ever eaten in Astoria. In fact, the whole experience changed my mind about eating fish. Now, I am a fan. With a glass of white wine, I paid $35.
Elias is a MUST if you want a fine fish resturant in Astoria.

Came here for the second time and will be back again. Grilled octopus was delicious, Greek salad, kafteri and branzino very taste, house wine so-so but didn't expect the best since it's very cheaply priced. No-nonsense but kind of funny waitress who took good care of our table. Rather prefer to go to this place with no frills than places in Manhattan that offer similar quality food but are priced at least twice as much.

I am by myself at one of the best restaurants in the world. I have not been here is years. You know the food will be good When the first table is messy with paper work. The table is the office. They do not take credit cards. Cash only. And if he is Greek with Greek eyebrows and good looking the food is going to be great. Today proved this place is one of my favorites in the world. It is Aleays consistent. At least 2 decades In Business. #eliahscorner
I perfect example of great Greek food and wine. Fresh and simple. All the flavors work together. I am still their number one fan.

The St Peter's fish is served up seasoned and grilled whole. The absolute best anywhere. I just got a chance to go back last weekend and it was just as good as I remembered. Also, the grilled octopus is out of this world, plus I had some delicious steamed mussels in garlic sauce that were simply delicious. The loukoumades are wonderful as well. You can't go wrong at this place. Love, love, love it.

We go back at least once a year. Walk in, check out the fish on the display and choose. Sit and order. Menus on request. No Credit Cards. No prices. No tablecloths. Never ripped off and always, always a delicious meal.
Grilled snapper with lemon potatoes and a Greek Salad. Yums.
Outdoor terrace in summer is so pleasant.

Living in Astoria for the last 3 years we have been to almost all the Greek places, except this one. My wife and I went last week and must say it is now our favorite. No Menus? That's right, but every fish/seafood dish imaginable, with the best lemon potatoes outside of Greece. No frills, decent, not great service, loud locals with big families, and excellent food. Trust me, you will love it...

Amazing that after we were having dessert and coffee they decide to bring a fish we were missing. Not only it was to late for it but instead of an apology they insisted that we have to pay for it. Unbelievable
