The original Rizzo's and an Astoria landmark. When I first moved here (shy of 20 years ago), the menu was sparse: square or round pie with a handful of traditional toppings, like sausage, onion, pepperoni, and anchovy. Order by the slice or pie (with the square ones in a few sizes). Now, they also have paninis, nutella dessert pie, and... More

Omg they have the best skinny pizza. It's so good. The people that work there are really friendly too. I love the Cannoli too.

Always on the search for a good slice here in Queens? Search no more, Rizzo's is the spot! Great thin slice, crispy crust and yummy sauce. My only request....can you open a spot in Jackson Heights?

Such a different slice of pizza. This was a staple of my youth. Go to the Astoria movie theater and get a few slices at Rizzo's. Although the movie theater is long gone, Rizzo's carries on. The crispy thin crust, the one piece of mozzarella in the center and the great sauce makes this a must have. To take it... More

I ventured to Rizzo's from the Fairfield Inn LGA Airport/ Astoria after the concierge gave high recommendations. I was looking for simple New York Style Pizza at a reasonable price for carry out or quick meal. Rizzo's was a perfect find. Rizzo's is not your typical tourist pizza. It's 1/4 inch thin crust with a crisp edge and unique flavor.... More

They have 2/3 locations , ate at the one in Queens. Pizza slices were good sized reasonably priced, garlic knots garlicky and moist. A little different are square slices. This is thin crust pizza and if you like yours extra crusty just tell them and they'll leave them in a little longer. I recommend Stewarts root beer to wash down... More

The pizza crust is very thin, but it is far from crisp. In fact, it is soggy. I have to say, however, that I have only had it as take out. Even if the thin crust was crispy to begin with, I would think it could get soggy as it sits in a box and travels. Perhaps it is crisp... More

This is my favorite pizza place. I always order a whole pie so it's always made to order so it's thin and crispy. The flavor is on mark and they put a generous amount of toppings. I also love their garlic knots which is done the way I like it. I have never been dissatisfied with their service, they are... More

Description
Since 1959, Rizzo's has been making our own unique style of Thin Crust Sicilian Pizza. Baked in old fashioned black pans fabricated to Mr. Rizzo's own specifications, these pies are thin, light & crispy. Particular attention is paid to the dough which is made fresh throughout the day and is the foundation of our menu. Our much loved full bodied sauce is both naturally sweet & tangy, and is made from choice California tomatoes. We use only real whole milk mozzarella and a blend of Parmigiano & Peccorino Romano cheeses for just the right blend of both buttery and sharp flavors. Our Neapolitan Pies are even thinner, and Personal Pies are thinner still. And while all feature exactly the same ingredients, each has its own distinct character & flavor profile. Add to this our creative toppings, fresh salads, & delicious made to order calzoni & stromboli, combined with a level of service & hospitality all too rare in the pizza business, and it's fair to say we specialize in happiness.
