We visited Greece a couple weeks ago so, was quite excited to come back to Astoria and enjoy all the Greece cuisine. Zenon didn't disappoint! We had the lamb chops and they were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Would've loved to have some ouzo but it was a little pricey. Don't forget, cash only!

We were walking around astoria and decided to get inside Zenon for a casual lunch. It has a great ambience inside it, transporting you to Cyprus in the 50s, and the waiters are extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered the meat meze which was wonderfully made, and definitely more food than 2 people can handle. The eating experience here was... More

If only the food was as good as the service, (which was fantastic). the saganoki was very good, but the sausage was over cooked, the chicken in pita was a OK, but no tzaski sauce on anything, salad was fresh, and fruit at end was nice touch.

We visited this Queens restaurant with our NY friends. After a short walk from the Uptown subway we were ready for a good lunch. We got a Great lunch! My daughter and I shared a veggie meze ($22. each). So much food - 14 items!! Loved the cold appetizers (Cyprus salad, beet salad, potato salad) and hot dishes (char-grilled zucchini,... More

Best Greek food I have had. Cozy warm atmosphere, and nice decor. Friendly warm staff. Very accommodating. The stuffed eggplant was delicious, fresh and healthy. Grilled chicken and lamb dishes equally outstanding quality, taste and generous portions. Fresh bread and delicious salads. Highly recommend

I've been going here for years - and not often enough! Their food always tastes fresh. It's very family friendly and they're very professional without being stodgy. I particularly like their cold app platter (can't remember the name but it's the one with all the dips on it) and it comes with a boatload of delicious and fresh pita! I... More

First time to eat here. I was in the area visiting friends. They suggested this restaurant. It was everything that I had read and heard about. Excellent food and service. We shared grilled octopus and grilled olives. Excellent! I had the sheftalia as my entrée. It was excellent, also. I highly recommend that you give this restaurant a try.

Nice but modest decor such as you might find in a neighborhood restaurant in Athens. We raved about the fish meze- 16 cold and hot Greek version of tapas for 2 at $23.95 each cannot be beat. These are a really nice tasting of appetizers or small plates. We will try the meat ones next visit. Although we two were... More

We picked this place because of its location and prior reviews. We walked in about 6:30 on a Friday and the place was empty. By 7:30, there were no tables. It is a family run Greek restaurant and they are proud of what they serve. Nothing fancy, but everything was fresh and very tasty. reasonable prices and big portions (plan... More

I went here on recommendation of a friend. The avgolemono soup was great and the octopus was the best I have ever had. Galatobouriko for dessert and a Greek coffee and I was in heaven.
