I was in New York and asked my friends where there was a good Greek restaurant. I am Greek American and fly to Greece every year. This was the best Greek restaurant I have ever dined at. And it is so popular that there is at least a 40 minute but it is worth it. The waiter , Altin at... More

I went with my wife's family who live in Astoria. We had octopus, sea bass, and swordfish. This seafood was grilled to perfection! In addition, we had a Greek salad with potatoes and rice. The ambience is poor. Tables are too close together, the clatter of plates can be heard constantly, and basically the restaurant is too small. They do... More

We've been here a few times and have recently moved to the area so will be back. The food is very fresh and authentically Greek. The service can be a bit spotty (last time we were there they brought us the wrong wine and last night they forgot my Greek salad). It's a busy atmosphere and the staff are friendly... More

We always stop here when we are in New York. Parking is easy right around the corner at a public pay lot and if your timing is right you don't have to wait long for a table. We had the most amazing swordfish - perhaps the best we have ever eaten. The portion was so big there was plenty leftover... More

Love the food here. The fish is frsh and delicious perfectly cooked. Portions are large. My friend had lamb chops and said they were perfect. gets crowded on the weekends and many family tables can get loud at times but food worth it. Prices are descent.

There's not much to say that hasn't already been said... The food is phenomenal, cooked well and very fresh. Be sure to try the peasant salad-- for two people, a small should be plenty. In general, the portions are very generous. Yes, if you go at prime dinner time, you will wait, possibly for quite a while. However, if you're... More

Fresh seafood. This is what seafood should taste like! Try the shrimp Santorini, one of my favorites.

We went once in July and twice in August, all three times the food was delicious. There can be a wait, because the restaurant is small. The food is consistently good, my two boys, ages 9 and 11, husband and myself all enjoy it!

For Texan who's never been to Greece, this place is a cultural event. For connoisseurs, we'll wouldn't know. Big portions. Great price. Great neighborhood vibe. Public parking close by. My favorite is the grilled squid but it's all good. Friendly staff; they seem Greek to me. Eat late and it seems they start handing out free dessert. There are bars,... More
