We ate here twice ( we stayed next door at Oure Lodge ) and Gite was an easy walk along the beach to get to. We ate here lunch twice and the food, drinks and service were very good. The staff were friendly and we got by with our limited french. Like everything on the Ile it isn't cheap.

Very nice place, with a warm welcome from management and staff. Very good food, enchanting surroundings in the immediate vicinity of the beach. I highly recommend the cottage and food at Nataiwatch, as well as the activities proposed.

The safari tent is a good alternative for a single person who wants minimum comfort: two real beds with sheets, blankets and towels, solar panel for lighting in the evening and for recharging their camera, telephone, etc. No way to do this to boil water. Small table and two chairs in front of the tent which can be closed with a padlock. Generous and very good dishes in the restaurant. Prior order required at reception.

We stayed here in June and we had a blast. The food was delicious 😋. Always Fresh. We had a tuna meal and pork and mussels. Transfer from airport was on time. We also arranged to do the Pirogue your through them and it was an incredible day. (I would say definitely only downside is the very loose directions that day but otherwise) What a gem !! Next door there's Oro resort which is also open all day and at sunset for beautiful cocktail Thanks for making our stay super memorable 💖

Whatever if you lunch or dine, the food is so good. You have choice between local food, meet or fish or sea food but you could have some burger or pizza too if you want conventional food.

Firstly I couldnt fault the staff, they were all amazing and very friendly. The resort its self is low quality, we had a bungalow with poor quality beds, no kettle, minimal equipment so they can make you avoid self catering, all meals had to be pre-booked by 11am, kind of annoying deciding your dinner at breakfast. Breakfast buffet was awful, just cheap cereal bread and jam... no healthy choice cheese or meat. This island is rediculously overpriced

So we wanted to try a restaurant for lunch as we wanted to escape the cruise boat. We read some reviews so tracked this place down. Arrived at 1:15pm and a very cranky woman told us that they were no longer serving lunch. There were a few people sipping beers so my travel buddy suggested we at least stay for a beer. And that's when cranky pants abruptly slammed the shutter down on us. Incredibly rude! Don't bother.

We had been disgorged from a cruise ship with a thousand bogans and were desperately looking for somewhere nice for lunch. All said bogans were at the beach so we headed inland up a sandy track into the forest. Luckily we stumbled across this place. The odds were stacked against us - we were not guests of the resort, we had no booking, we had not pre-ordered our meals (something which is apparently required) and spoke barely a word of French. Despite these handicaps, we managed to order and enjoy a nice meal in a chilled out setting with some locals. I could have listened to the lady on the table next to us speak French all afternoon but, sadly, we had to get back on the ship. Unexpectedly stumbling across this place for lunch became one of the highlights of our trip.

As we were staying at the Gite for three nights, this was where we had dinner every night. The selection is a bit limited (four options for mains) but they more than make up for this with the quality of each dish. One night we considered eating elsewhere but found that the Nataiwatch restaurant was quite competitively priced compared to other restaurants in the vicinity. This is evidenced by the fact that guests of neighbouring hotels would often come to Nataiwatch for dinner. The atmosphere was also very nice if you like casual dining (plastic chairs and sand floor) and the set-up is conducive to having nice conversations with other diners and sharing stories and tips. The tagliatelle with seafood was divine and had a really generous amount of yummy and fresh seafood. The mi-cuit tuna with veges was also tasty, and my partner tells me the pizza was pretty good too. All in all, a good option with reasonable prices considering you are on an island offshore of a bigger island which imports most goods. I thought the one entree I tried (deep-fried prawns) was really small and in hindsight would just order mains which were generously sized for the most part. They had a basic selection of wines and beers.

We didn’t stay here but came here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. The meals were very simple but tasty and fresh and the service excellent. We booked in advance and had to choose our menu in advance as well and this was all done in French, so if you’re not fluent you might need someone to help with translations! The food was priced relatively well and nicely presented. We would come back again.

Dear all; this could be one of the best table on the Island, ingredients are fresh and this atmosphere is very relaxed. Please ensure you book ahead and you will have also to choose your dishes over the phone. The menu is basic but tasty. The Chef brings his personality into the dishes, keep up the good work. They have a very good pizza, and other dishes such snail or lobster carpaccio. Service is as per the Ile des Pins' vibes so enjoy and chill.

This place requires reservations. We had beef carpaccio for entree which was delicious, fish with a salad for main and coconut tart for desert. The food was fresh and seasonal. It was unpretentious and hearty. I would definitely recommend. Its within walking distance of Oure Tera Resort.

We were 3 couples visiting on a charter yacht, and walked from Kuto Bay around the beach to the restaurant for dinner. Bookings are required before 5:00pm on the day as the menu changes daily. The waiter was very friendly and helped with our poor French. It is a fixed menu, and we had prawns for entree, and tuna for main course. Deserts were also very tasty. Wow it was fresh and beautifully cooked. Considering we had walked through the sea and sand in the dark to get there it was a great experience ! And not expensive! We would love to return someday

Went to Ile Des Pins on day trip and Wanted to have lunch at about 12:30. Staff very unfriendly and told us to it was 'impossible'. Could not understand why as others were arriving and getting food. Maybe you had to be a camper and have pre-ordered?
