Great garden out the back, lovely staff and good coffee. Not much for gluten intolerant. But definitely worth a visit.

We just had coffee's at Village Cafe, but everyone was very friendly and the service was fabulous. It was a pity we had already had breakfast as I would have loved to have tried a couple of things on their menu.

The outside doesn't look much but it's really worth venturing inside and through to the back. It's a quirky little place with a relaxed atmosphere. We sat outside and enjoyed a nice lunch. Menu was good, staff were friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit....We would definitely come back.More

If you follow the advice to start your day with a good breakfast then this is the place to go. Six of us loved getting breakfast here a couple of days in a row. There's a very extensive menu--lots and lots of options: traditional English...and southern African, omelettes, egg dishes, pancakes.....and lots of good coffee. Over the two days we sampled many of the dishes and no one was disappointed. Everyone had a hearty breakfast. My wife said the cappuccinos were fantastic. There's something here for everyone. There's even a menu for dogs and we took the liberty of buying a breakfast for a stranger's dog! The friendly staff make it all the more enjoyable. The atmosphere is very friendly with funny signs/admonitions on the walls. There's indoor and outdoor dining and wifi is available. It's easily located in Swakopmund.More

May 2022 - visited for breakfast. The Village Cafe was a great place to eat. Friendly and unpretentious service, excellent coffee, cozy atmosphere. My partner and I enjoyed coffee, ham and cheese toastie, and a breakfast wrap. Menu has something for everyone. We are staying...at the nearby Swakopmund Luxury Suites and they provided breakfast vouchers for several local cafes. We asked around and several locals said this was the best choice. Hard to disagree! Absolutely loved this place - no problem giving a recommendation. Great food and service.More

Very special coffee / restaurant. Yummy food and super friendly staff. Die Milktart, the Sandwich, the milkshaks and smoothies. Just awesome. We will come back!

Quaint and authentic decor on the Main Street with excellent service and a vast breakfast menu. Our waiter was brilliant as was my eggs, bacon and borewors. Great coffee as well.
