Our waiter was a very attentive and humorous guy.
Although there was no cocktail/mocktail in the drink list, you could still order through the waiter’s recommendations.
Portions were big.
We liked this restaurant more than in The Tug the previous night. Both have very magnificent sunset views but The Wreck was a bit further from the central area so perhaps not as busy as The Tug so The Wreck provided better service and more delicious food.
My main the fish was grilled to almost perfection. The “spring rolls” dessert was novel and interesting!

Booking was easy on a weekday. Semi smart to smart reataurant. Beautiful view of the ocean - daytime is best for this view.
Service good
Food - excellent. My husband and I have been traveling through Namibia for 2 weeks and this is by far the most flavorful food we have eaten. We ordered several starters between us which served as mains and every dish was flavorful and tastefully plated.
The only dish I could faulter was the dessert the candied topping could have been smoother on the creme brulee.

My friends and I celebrated Galentine's Day on Saturday at the Wreck Restaurant. We had the warmest welcome to the restaurant, we had the most amazing waiter (Phillio). He treated us well, with care and appreciation for being there.
The food was delicious and of generous portions.....I would like to send my appreciation to management, chefs and staff of the Wreck restaurant, please keep up the good work.

The food and services were great. Did check the website menu to look at prices (As grandma was treating the family)and was surprised that it was not the same as the website even the photo of the chef that is no longer employed as per the staff, actually knows the chef in the photos) Add at least N$50.00 to N$80.00 to the prices on the website Please correct website prices and photos. (Person at the desk said that they keep on having these issues. MANAGEMENT please we need the tourist but you need to advertise correctly. 12/05/23 Dinner

They got the food badly wrong tonight . The chef flatly refused to accept any feedback or take responsibility for messing up two main courses twice and then serving old inedible deserts . The Kudu steak was first served well done when Med/rare was requested - then redone only to come back completely rare . The Kingklip was soggy , salty and completely over cooked with oil/butter oozing from the risotto. The chocolate mousse resembled oats with chocolate Nesquick mixed in and tasted similar. The caramelised lemon tart was bone dry and tasteless - seemingly left out of the fridge and uncovered from the day before .
The Chef was keen to tell the manager what to do with the customer feedback - unfortunately in earshot of said customer. The manger and serving staff tried their best but with a team like that in the kitchen it’s an impossible task
Hence I strongly suggest to dine elsewhere .

The quality of the food and service were great. We had a mix of seafood and meat dishes around the table and each of us were very happy. We also had breakfast here the next morning which was a good buffet. The staff are attentive and helpful and just so nice!

Just had a fantastic meal at the wreck. The waitress was good and the food super tasty. One bad thing though was the attitude of the manager Salom. We were told there were two sittings. We(party of 6) arrived on time to a completely empty restaurant. We requested a table by the window and were told that this was reserved. However no one showed up to the two tables during the time which we were there and we w found this to be very strange. We also found it strange that who came after us managed to get those seats. When we were then informed that the only other large party had a table booked for much later on in the evening. When we spoke to him about it he was quite rude and dismissive and had a very poor response when we asked him for an explanation. I wouldn’t have expected that from a place like that.
Would have given it 5 but the behaviour of the manager left a poor taste with us - No pun intended!

Had previously visited (and loved) this restaurant for its panoramic views and fine dining experience. This time, however, it was a total letdown, with hordes of young children running around, screaming and shouting, unrestrained by their parents and completely ignored by management. Soured the whole experience and, if that is to remain the trend, will definitely not return. A great pity, because this was truly a must-do on our list.

we had such a lovely time at The Wreck! The staff was friendly and the ambiance was amazing. The food was so delicious, and the portions were so big, I couldn't get through my main, lol. I had the Casta way sea food stew, and It was def. worth every penny.

Good food and affordable prices. The waiters are helpful and they can give you a good advice for your order. The fish is fresh.
I think the interior can be renewed a little bit.
The view is incredible - especially on sunset 😍
