This restaurant is probably one of the top tourist destinations in Swakopmund being situated within a converted ship on the jetty. The welcome was good (our B&B has reserved for us) and our waitress (Sonia) was attentive, efficient and delightful. The wine list was extensive...More

If you are ever in Swakopmund, you have to treat yourself to a wonderful dinner at The Tug. I had the Sole, was the best I've ever tasted. Our waiter was well informed of the menu, and very friendly. Will definitely be going back there...More

Location is great food is good but they could improve on the ambience and when they were overwhelmed cleaning was an issue the floor was dirty. The steaks are divine.

Waiters didn't seem keen to serve us - I wonder if things would have been different if my partner and I were white. Food was average.

We were recommended to try this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The portions were large. We had starters and then could not finish the main course. Service was very good, our waitress was very helpful explaining the dishes. Recommended.

The food was out of this world and so was the service. What I liked most was that unlike some restaurants which were or had their kitchens closed during certain time periods of the day, this place was open all day till late. So if...More

Casual smart was the order of the day when I had dinner there. I wore a smart shirt, no tie and felt a bit over dressed.
