Night 6 in Essaouira and this was a surprise find. Authentic cosy atmosphere, (nothing too sanitised and modern) , fabulous friendly service and delicious food ( plus decent wine list) . Myself, husband and 3 teenagers all agreed it was the best meal we had...More

In the center of a port in the medina in Essaouira, you'll find La Cle de Voute (The key to the vault). I would add 'The key to my heart' . . . The restaurant lures us in with a poster in the street that...More

I really enjoyed my lamb and wine. The alley leading to the restaurant was a little seedy and smelly and I didn’t find the staff to be very welcoming to a female solo traveller. But this is Morocco #TIM
