I love Jilali's pralinés! Get your coffee in the new town and tasty chocolate! Or get it for your travel with CTM as a treat for your trip, it is just opposite the bus station! He also prepares chocolate gifts for birtthdays, honeymoon or other celebrations!

The most authentic restaurant we've eaten in during our 6 day trip to Morocco. We were surrounded by locals, the food was being cooked right in front of us and the owner was super friendly. 1 cheese omelette, 1 (huge) plate of couscous with chicken and vegetables and 2 fruit juices costed us less than 70 dirham. We stumbled upon... More

Cafe Jalil is a hidden gem in the medina area. It is not luxurious but the food is authentic and very tasty, completely done from scratch. If you want to immerse yourself in the real Morroco, that is THE place. Jalil is very kind and helpful and will go the extra mile to accomodate you. I can only recommend Cafe... More

I found this place whilst asking for directions to a local Hamman. The owner left his restaurant and personally took me there so I wouldn't get lost. I returned there to eat as he'd been so kind. The chicken tagine was delicious, packed with flavour and herbs. As was the sardine tagine and only 30 Dirhams. Gutted I missed out... More

The concept is : you buy your meat, you buy your vegetables, you hand it over and this woman cooks it all up for you. At least half our vegetables must have disappeared because the result was underwhelmingly small AND the chicken and prunes tajine was so overcooked the almonds were black. Avoid if you can.
