What a lovely surprise ! We found it by chance, we’re lost in this tiny Medina and it was a blessing ... everything is great here : the food, the staff, the decor, the soundtrack : I just felt in love (since we found it,...we came back every day - and we are the kind that ties new restaurants every day) ❤️
Just perfect 🥰 hope to come back soonMore
Been 2 days on the trot now and the only reason I'm not going back tomorrow is we are leaving Essaouira! I never like to eat at the same place twice but 100% worth it for Triskala. Each day the menu changes based on what's...in fresh and that's genuinely the case, had a completely different meal tonight than yesterday. And both meals were gorgeous, and healthy! So chuffed with it.More
Somethings do really get better with time. It’s been 7 years since I last ate here, today I finally managed to return to Essaouira and Triskala for the first time since January 2013.
Here is the same friendly, welcoming & cosy space.
Here still, the...deliciously eclectic food accompanied by equally tasteful music.
I love the small menu of daily changing dishes which ensures seasonal freshness. I love the imaginative way the contemporary vibe nestles into this ancient building. It’s a joy.
My friend and I would love to linger longer, maybe return for lunch before we have to leave this special place.
Thank you Triskala for keeping standards high, maintaining your ethics and your sense of purpose.
Always evolving and better than before.
Local. Fresh. Honest good food.More
So disappointing. We saw people waiting to enter this place on more than one occasion so presumed it must be good. We booked to go for dinner 2nd March. The starter was not bad.. sardines, but the main was awful.. vegetable tagine. It was quite...dry consistency, and comprised of very few vegetables mainly finely chopped aubergine and courgette with strong spices.I didn’t enjoy the taste though ate it because I was hungry. When returning to the hotel I felt unwell and had stomach pains for several hours. I vomitted during the night and hardly slept. This was unfortunate as we were leaving Morocco the following morning and flying home. Such a pity as this spoilt my holiday. The inside of the restaurant is interesting and full of character, but the food poisoning has made me never want to return to the place to eat.More
This restaurant is charming, friendly and cozy. There is a resident cat (or two), and you can sit up in a tree house like structure or in a cute cubby hole for your dinner. The food is vegetarian friendly, and tasty takes on Morocco as...well European cuisines. Service excellent. Prices low-mid European. No alcohol. Recommended.More
My husband and I enjoyed a delightful vegetarian dinner in this sweet, funky and friendly restaurant full of beautiful ambiance. The Falafel plate was copious and delicious. It's a busy place so book or come early. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
We came here as trip advisor had it listed as one dollar sign - but that is not the case. Although the food was delicious the portion sizes were tiny and it was the most expensive meal we've had in morocco to date. Leaving a...review mostly to increase the number of dollar signs so other travellers aren't bamboozled. That being said - if you're ok spending the money the food was excellent, service great and atmosphere perfect. Great meal other than we left hungry!More
Having visited years before had been really looking forward to returning and it did not disappoint.
Firstly the warmth of the place was so welcome after a cold rainy January day.
The cocktail drinks were divine. The main course of falafels delicious especially all the...veg each prepared in a unique way.More
