Great location . Over looking main square and city walls. Drink was not fresh and out of carton. Extremely over priced. But you are paying for location. The view is incredible and romantic. Drinks are expensive compared to other bars and cafes in Medina.

This restaurant has beautiful views of the sea and also the square, and worth of visiting for that reason. The food and drink were mediocre, but we went at 4pm, so maybe lunch or dinner are better time for food.

Taros is a local institution, you can't visit Essa without eating or drinking there. It's a great place and we would certainly recommend it. However, one word of caution, on our first visit there, before entering the building, we asked the guy if they had seafood specials that day, he said no and his 'friend' took us to Il Mare,... More

Alcohol was fairly expensive (around octoberfest prices...) but I understand that this is completely normal in muslim countries, so no hard feelings. The music on the other hand was something else the two times I was there: jazzy covers of well known pop and rock songs as well as more traditional arab and moroccan music. Overall a really laid back... More

After some average food recommendations we steered clear of this place until our last lunch. Don't. The food was amongst the best available. From the St. Pierre fish of the day to the chicken club sandwich - great. Fantastic and cool setting, family friendly and superb food

The restaurant is on the roof, very attractive. Delicious meal with good service. Even provided with ponchos to keep warm in the cool evening.. There was an excellent singer and live band

The rooftop views are excellent, a great spot to sit and enjoy sea views or the activities from the square below. I ordered the lamb shank tagine which made my cousin very jealous when it arrived. Lamb fell off the bone and was very succulent. I washed it down with a gin fizz as alcohol is served. My cousin ate... More

They probably have one of the best terraces in town with a view on the main square perfect to get away from the crowd during the gnawa festival while still enjoying the show. Unfortunately the food and service are very average and the prices quite high. Good for a late night drink.

We just went for drinks not food, as it's one of the few places you can get alcohol (which is quite expensive, but that's normal in Morocco). Live music was great - traditional band. After that came loads of cheesy 70s disco music from the DJ which I really enjoyed but realise it's not everyone's cup of tea! This place... More
