The food in this restaurant is amazing. The food is freshly cooked after discussing your requirements with Chef Ann. Every meal we ate at this restaurant was superb.

Excellent restaurant, no formal menu, food cooked to your request and liking. Chef Anne and Chef Maz will advise you options of how to cook, what spices and sauces and accompaniments to your meal.

The restaurant gets busy but is never the less relaxing . The lady chefs discuss all the options on the menu or if the ingredients are available will prepare whatever you may fancy. Great place to eat , advisable to book

This is our second trip to Tanjong Jara resort, and we must say that the food at Di Atas Sungai is as good as we remembered it, three years ago. Chef Ann and Chef Maz were very friendly and welcoming and as always gave great suggestions for our meals. Their butter milk prawns are simply delicious and their chocolate lava... More

Breakfasts are a buffet with a good mix of asian and western. Perhaps the fresh fruit selection could be a bit wider, but it does vary each day or so. Dinner is a walking menu with chef Wan or her colleague - basically you have a full Malaysian selection, cooked how you like.

Breakfast was a spread of local delicacies, from Nasi Dagang to Nasi Lemak, Roti Jala to Roti Canai. Dinner was cooked to order, to your preference to your fancy. Staffs were very attentive & kept reminding us to 'makan'. One cheekily offered to wheel me back to my room in a trolley since I zoned out after literally stuffing my... More

For a hotel touristy restaurant all was very pleasant. Service for the 7 nights was always pleasant and the food was Malaysian style and not western. We normally go outside the hotels for food in Malaysia but this was fine. Well done and recommended if staying at the hotel.

We spent a couple of days in the resort the restaurant is based in. Good choice of food, excellent service and price/quality ratio is definitely ok. Would always go back and eat there. Try the venison 😀
