This restaurant is located near my office which I have discovered before. It serves good beef noodles. The food taste is like home cooking but with out the msg. Taste is average but very pricey. Portion is average. Typical coffee shop fare but high end...More

My search takes me to a place that is completely off my radar in spite of its strategic location near the LDP. A background check warns me of a cocky, rude and eccentric “uncle”. He’s no where to be seen when we arrive for lunch...More

I can't complain about the taste though I found it pricy for the amount of ingredients and portions given. Owner can be a little stuck-up and impatient and rude while taking your orders. I came away thinking I could have had a better meal elsewhere...More

The taste is nothing great and it’s just okay. For the price paid, definitely not worth the portion and the taste. I might as well as drive all the way to KL for Shin Kee beef noodle or to Restoran Soong Kee. What’s more, the...More

My first & last time here. Be vary of owner’s recommendation which tend to skew towards the most expensive portions, and recommends top-up as if it’s part of the original recommendation without informing that these are additional. Being the first visit here, asking for recommendation...More

One of the best, if not the best beef noodles in PJ. Has all the usual combinations of beefball, tendon, tripe, etc. Standout is their unique ala carte dishes, eg Claypot Oxtail (melt-off-the-bone oxtail with thick broth). Owner Uncle Cheng is still hands-on in the...More

The place was virtully empty during peak hour lunch. Was served by the owner, a mid age man who was extremely rude - forcing us to take expensive pots and talk all over us. Prices for the food is expensive rm15 for noodles. Serving is...More

It's near my home; I have known Uncle Cheng for years since he started in Section 16. He uses his traditional recipe learned from his family; he would painstakingly snipped up the sinews from the bones and carefully cut along the grains of the muscles...More

Absolutely home cooked recipe passed down from generations before, what I love about Uncle Cheng is, he takes much care and pain to make sure the food is served at its very best and up to his standard. You must try it, you have not!
