A good place to sit and watch the world go by . Good choice of beers and a great G&T . The food ordered comes from Peridot the restaurant opposite and is great , we had the Vegetarian options with our drinks.

I stopped in here on a weekend, hoping to find a party atmosphere, I stayed until after 10:00 and things were still pretty dead. I did have some chips and edamame that was pretty tasty.

A place I was looking forward to revisiting only to find it had moved, next door, changed around a bit, lost draught lager (tin only) and generally a shadow of it's previous self. Expensive to drink from tins so there ae better options now close...by.More

it's a good place except that the food I ordered was REALLY salty I actually teared up eating it. Try to put less salt, maybe? Haha (My partner also said the same thing)

The food was excellent. I had a chicken chop. The veg were nice, a little salty, but good. The chop was awesome. But the MASHED POTATOES were OUTRAGEOUS!?!I seriously could have eaten 4 pounds of them. They were crazy good. There was only one place...in my 40 years on this Earth that i have had more memorable mashed potatoes (a southern themed restaurant in New York which changed a year later to using instant potatoes (philistines)). The vibe is awesome. there were some throwback posters for bands and stuff. (Incubus and Silverchair (Silverchair? are you serious?) although i thought they were Australian and that would make much more sense, my shock could be Americanness). But it's more than an homage to Gen X. (Although, that's a first). It's the whole vibe, this is just a fun place to be, run and staffed with nice people who seem to love what they are doing and couldn't be happier to make your experience in the establishment better. The only way they could be nicer is if they were free. ( But then I would be upset since it happened after I was there). IT's also a little Star Warsy too, in a more subtle way. Go there. Eat many fine things and spend lots of money. Enjoy the ambiance and vibe. Then maybe you can write your own review with many parenthetical sentences tooMore

Chill and laid back bar where one can taste the local brew Tuak. The fries is also appropriately priced.

Clientele mostly consists of backpackers and travelers trying to meet new people to hangout with. When we were there, there was a sape player Julien playing in front of the doors, which was a lovely touch. Great prices comparing to places around, good tak as...well! We had however a terrifying experience when entering the bar - someone suddenly shouted 'stoooop don't move' when I put my foot in the bar - it turned out there was a scorpion on the floor near the entrance and the staff tried to catch him. We have watched this scene and thought 'that's a really alternative bar' :-)More

This is a good hangout for an evening. They have a small selection of food on the menu with the normal beers as well as a selection of tuak, the local rice wine. Music can be a bit loud. Service is friendly and price reasonable.

Great place to drink, talk and relax. Have good choice drinks. Good selection of tuak -local rice wine with several flavours and taste. Just move to next door with the similar deco and theme.
