It’s not an Indian restaurant basically. We went there as wife wanted to eat vegetarian. Not worth - their big Naan although fresh felt like eating rubber and Alu Gobhi veggie was a Joke. Dosa platter was nice though. And these guys don’t accept credit...card. Not worth.More

Having read good reviews we thought best to give it a try. Typical quick serve at side of road and as advertised pretty busy. Service was prompt and polite. Chicken tikka wasn’t as expected taste wise but cooked ok. Lamb rogan josh was served on...a plate with a piece that fell off the bone so cooked well. Cheese naan was very cheesy as advertised. Garlic naan was a bit dry. Washed down with mango lassie thou do no complaints but we couldn’t rave about it.More

Amazing food, so flavourful and tasty! Staff was very friendly and happy to give recommendations. You cannot miss the cheese naan, and we absolutely loved the chicken biryani, carrot thosai and aloo gobi There was a queue for most of the time we were there,...but it moved quite fast - worth the waitMore

The popularity of the restaurant is reflected by how crowded the place is at any given time. Be prepared to wait and the food you get will be worth the wait. Try the Appam set and the Garlic Cheese and if you are able to...ignore your guilt of over-eating, there are always the Banana Leaf Beriyani dish and Banana Fritters topped with overflowing Cheese .. never mind .. there is always time later to go jogging or hitting the gym. When in Kuching, Sarawak, look up for this restaurant ..More

Amazing tasting food, ranging from curries and biryanis to superb sides. The price of the food is very reasonable too compared to other restaurants in the local area. This place gets very busy from early in the evening (for good reason), so make sure to...plan your time here. Service is quick an friendly. Highly recommend!More

Really good Indian/Sri Lanka food. They also have vegetarian options. The cheese naan is really cheesy. The staff and the owner are very kind and helpful. At night you might have to wait for a table but it is worth it.

The cheese naan is of course the first thing you should order. We took the Sri-Lankan set and a few drinks, it was really good.

At £1-2 a dish, this is a bargin. Expect basic good Indian food. Staff were v friendly and service quick. Tandoori chicken was cooked perfectly (& dyed red as it always is by the spices it's marinated in). Lassi was nice, and the fresh made...Masala Chai excellent. Naan was good, but the Thosai breads a bit boring (even with dips). Toilets were clean (as was the place in general)More

We ordered tandoori chicken, mango lassis and the “unicorn” combo. The chicken looked fake red, tasted eh and was bloody at the bone (undercooked). We did not eat it. The lassis were unappealing and we did not drink them. The dosas were advertised as coming...with sides (see picture from the menu.) t They did not. Instead they came with a dipping sauce from a can. We picked at the pretty dosas… but found them to be oily. We did not eat them. This restaurant was awful. Really the only bad meal we had in Kuching. If you want a super cheap meal and don’t care about quality, this is your place.More

The food especially the Naan was extremely delicious and price is very reasonable. Always full and people are willing to queue to enjoy the fine dining in this popular restaurant. Ordered the triple extra extra cheese naan with 1kg of cheese and the taste was...WAAALAAA!!! Very nice. Kids love it very very much! Definitely a must visit place. I am going there again soon. 🍽️❤️🫰🏻More

Arrived about 11:00am. Place was busy but still had 1-2 tables free. By 12pm, the crowd had built up. Customers would need to queue to be seated. Popular with groups. Ordered the Sri Lankan Appam Set - consists of 4 appams (2 original, 1 with...soft boil egg and 1 with melted cheese) and 3 dips. Also had the masala tea. Masala tea is made with condense milk and you have the option to not stir the tea you do not want it sweet. You could inform them in advance you do not want condense milk as well. Restaurant setting is simple and good ventilation. Payment is by cash/debit card/credit card/e-wallet.More

We were recommended to eat here and try the famous Cheese Naan. It's a very popular restaurant, we had to queue for a table, but not very long. Staff and owner very friendly. Food delicious and portions generous. Highly recommend.

Very odd idea of Sri Lankan foods. The line suggests this is a very good restaurant. The food was a very odd representation of Indian food from random corners of the sub continent with little respect for the difference and balance of the spices. Cheesy...Nan bread made with processed cheese slices seems to be the signature dish. Atmosphere was convivial. We asked for vegetarian but halfway through, what we thought was a peculiar sambar turned out to be a chicken soup. Prices mid range for kuching. They do a good dosa but no filling. We left laughing.More
