Not being big drinkers we were drawn to this place for something to eat. Kuching was the last place we imagined finding a Montenegrin cooking Italian pizza but there he was and we now know where to get fabulous pizza.

There is non-smoking and smoking zone, non-smoking zone with aircond. It is a self-service bar, grab ur drinks/beers and pay at the counter.

I came across this interesting bar as it was right around the corner from our hotel. They have a sort of serve yourself kind of organization which works great. Not a huge variety of food but enough for a good meal. You can sit inside...our outside - it's a huge place. Very convivial atmosphere.More

Stumbled across this place while searching for a place for dinner. The lamb chop is nice, especially the gravy. Not much choice of food though. Only lots of different types of beer.

Awesome bar, live music Friday and Saturday starts at 9, usually busy with locals and tourists, amazing pizza, selection of cheap beer (unique self serve design choose beer from fridges then keep the beer in an ice bucket at your table). Went a couple nights...during our Kuching stayMore

This is a bar with a difference, it is self service. Drinks are in refrigerators somewhat like in convenience stores, you make your choice and pay at the counter. Ample seating indoor and out. There is a pizza and a local food outlet at the...premise if you are hungry. An interesting concept, it is a nice place to relax and unwind or meet up with friends.More

This bar/ restaurant has a counter for local snacks and a counter for pizza. We went for a Pizza but it was closed so we ordered some local snacks. They have all kinds of things on a stick, vegetables, cheeses, chicken etc. we ordered 8...sticks and a plate of French fries for 30 RM, too expensive for what you get. All sticks tasted like chewing gum and were fat too far and they put far too much salt on it and also on the fries. Yack!!! Beer costs 5 RM for a can or 10 RM for a 0.66 ltr bottle. I hope next time the pizza is open again :(More

This place has an interesting concept. First off, the Big Bottle does NOT sell food. What they do sell is beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, in a grocery store style where you pick your beverage from a fridge and pay at the counter. You then...exit this little grocery area and can choose to sit and drink in the indoor portion of Big Bottle (which has lots of seating options, a/c, and sometimes live music) or you can choose to sit in the outdoor seating portion at the front of Big Bottle. Because Big Bottle does not sell food, what it does do is rent two of it's patio spaces to food companies. The first space is rented to Balkanico Pizza, where you can order a pizza that is made right there and you can eat it inside or outside of Big Bottle. This place is considered the #5 restaurant in all of Kuching. The other food option is a Malaysian food cart. Basically, the beverage company works in conjunction with these two food companies so that together you can get beverages and food in a single location. It's an interesting concept that is fun. It's not super fancy and you won't have wait staff placing napkins on your lap by any means, so it is more self-serve than anything. I think it's worth a visit!More
