Dined here as a farewell dinner of our tour group. Meals were all tasty but nothing outstanding. Wait staff are great. Drink prices are a little high. Wines are expensive and beer choice limited. Nice restaurant fitout. Great background music played

We stopped in one evening for coffee/tea and desserts...and certainly were not disappointed! We ordered the chocolate profiteroles and the sticky date pudding...both of which were wonderful desserts to end a lovely evening walking around town.

We had a very civilized dinner, gin and tonic each, shared the Caesar Salad and garlic bread, had mushroom risotto and pollo with linguini as mains. Total bill with tip $50 USD. Expensive for KK, but in the U.S. this would be very reasonable. Good but not overbearing service, food tasted good and we left full and happy.

The food was excellent and the presentation very professional. Prices are a bug high for the average restaurant in Sabah but I guess they are in a market that can command that extra few dollars. Was a busy place and I would suggest you book if you have a large number going.

Checked into Jesselton Hotel late and needed somewhere close to get decent food. This completely fit the bill. Nothing spectacular, but reasonable prices on interesting pizzas (got the spicy beef, which was a nice combo of Italian and Malaysian).

My wife and i frequents this place for special occasions, anniversaries and celebrations, from the time it was at City Mall. We would speak highly of this restaurant whenever asked by our friends and families (even when we feel that there was a drop in food quality at certain times). However, our recent experience was utterly disappointing. We made a... More

Heard about Kudos so over Xmas 2016 when I was back on holidays I went to pick up Shepherd's Pies for my sister's office party....hearty helpings separated into 2 containers....Perfect! I managed to have a box left at home. Delisss!! Off menu so order beforehand. It's a tad pricy if one compares to other restos in.KK. Perhaps should not have... More

Worst dining experience and meal. Definitely not fine dining, given the service and bad quality of food served. Its probably worst than a casual dining cafe. This restaurant charges RM20 for birthday cake or rather charges corkage fee for cake which is ridiculous and upsetting. To make the dining worst, the food is not as good as reviewed but one... The pizza was well made and tasted great. The real highlight was the apple crumble. It is right up there with the best apple crumble I have ever had.

The restaurant is located centrally and looked in TripAdvisor before we went there so had quite high expectations but it turned out to be a nightmare. The waiter who served us is very creepy, he stands just 1 meter from us when we ate. And was kind of in a hurry so when my friend finished his lamb rack he... More

Description
Kudos first opened its doors on 24th March 2014 in the main Central Business District of Kota Kinabalu at the iconic Jesselton Hotel where the casual dining restaurant has an airy, modern yet classic feel to it. Within our newly launched a la carte menu we proudly serve a selection of modern British food which incorporates French, Italian, Mediterranean and other European dishes complimented with ever-changing weekly specials. The wine list is cosmopolitan and has a modest selection of wines by the glass from a light Sauvignon Blanc to a robust Cabernet Sauvignon or Shiraz to satisfy the most discerning wine enthusiast. Our European Executive Chef and culinary team are committed to using, where possible, local sourced organic produce, premium meats and sustainable seafood. It is the perfect venue for a relaxing breakfast, a business lunch, a romantic candlelight dinner or a meeting place with family and friends. Reservations are recommended.
