Have it your way. Seafood selection is ok, variety of cooking, usually recommended by the staff. Beers or wines are available too. Indoor and outdoor sitting available. A good place to have dinner and then move to other pubs along the same stretch.

We ate here at least three times during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed each meal. The restaurant appears to be much more authentic than the others on the strip and the majority of customers appear to be Asian rather than tourists-always a good sign as far as we are concerned. You can eat outside with views over the port-sometimes a... More

Went here for dinner after exploring KK city on foot. It is your typical Chinese family restaurant. Food serving is good, just right for a group of 5. Price though is quite on the high side. The restaurant offers a choice of using frozen seafood or fresh for your dishes, of course the fresh ones commanding much higher prices. We... More

We dined here on three separate occasions during our two week stay and always received excellent service and delicious food. If it is authentic tasty food you are after without the European tourist frills and high prices, then this place is really worth a visit.

Port view restaurant is amazing and worth a visit on any trip to Kota Kinabalu. The seafood is so fresh it is kept alive in tanks. This Chinese restaurant has to be one of the best. Food so fresh, delicious and incredibly cheap would recommend it to anyone going to the waterfront just brilliant.

I have reserved 3 tables at this restaurant for 28 person. Ordered a rm1000 set dinner for each dinner. Can't really remembered what was in the set, but the feedback that I got from my colleagues were that the seafood were fresh and tasty and portions are generous. Everyone was happy with the dinner.

We first visited this famous seafood restaurant in 1999 at its former address. We kept our footsteps whenever we called KK even it moved to the present Waterfront District. Reason? Simple enough: Its standard of food, service, and superiority continued, and popularity, too! You can see tourist buses queuing at its door-front!

The restaurant serves very fresh Lobsters, and food was cooked deliciously according to our request. Would strongly recommend this restaurant to seafood lovers.

We tried the Port View Seafood Restaurant in order to have their Pepper Crab. This Pepper Crab was done in a blackbean sauce as opposed to pepper sauce. While it wasn't what we expected it was still very good. Can highly recommend this, but still prefer the Jumbo's Pepper Crab in Singapore!

Had seafood for dinner at this place. Obviously a tourist trap, a nicely decorated one, but hey we went for it. Menu had lots of variety. There was an air-conditioned indoor hall as well as an outdoor seating area overlooking the sea. Pricier food than the other local (less 'touristy') seafood restaurants serving more or less the same kind dishes... More
