The best dim sum you could get in the island. The huge variety leaves you craving for more. Just when you thought you are done, you'd always go back and get more! Both their steamed and fried delicacies are finger licking good. Also available are stir fried noodles and rice, which are equally good. My advice, get to the restaurant... More

We were there twice on 26 & 30 Jan 2017. Very crowded especially since it's the Lunar New Year. Pros: 1) Prices and dim sums were reasonable. 2) Dim sums selections were good. 3) Cleanliness is acceptable. Cons: 1) Open from 6am - 12pm. Only for early birds. 2) Difficult to get seats. 3) If you arrives late (like us... More

My advice is this - go early on a weekday. On weekends and public holidays avoid unless you want to wait a long time for a place to seat and have people hovering over you while you eat in a stuffy atmosphere That aside, the dim sum is very good

As a fan of dim sum, this place didnt fail and there are also nothing special about it . The Selection of dimsum are usual ones and the taste is average. Definitely worth if you are looking for a place for breakfast with friends and enjoy some tea. The egg tarts are delicious enough to amaze me.

Maxim Dimsum Restaurant has several branches in Penang. One of them is in Kuta Bali Cafe near Air Itam. I have always visited there for my breakfast with my family because I have been living in Air Itam. But Air Itam is quite far from the city center or George Town. Kuta Bali Cafe is a big and there are... More

This restaurant in Pekaka has been serving good dim sum for many years now and they have grown to now 4 or 5 lots, with one rogue shop between them. As a dim sum lover based in the Klang Valley, I enjoy my visits to this restaurant every time I come up to Penang. Summary of the good: 1. Cheaper... More

Salted Egg Yolk Custard Bao is amazingly delicious with generous of molten salted egg yolk. Siew Mai and Ha Gao are so-so as compared to those that I have tried in KL. Nevertheless, good spot to have breakfast with the locals.

The best Dim Sum in the Pekaka area with super crunchy egg tarts. Whoop!!! I have never ever forgotten you, whenever I had a chance to visit the food paradise, Penang. You are the number one in my mind. All mindful meals were prepared with good ingredients and fresh. Don't forget that the egg tart is so good

Plenty of vareity from fried to steam. Price slighly on the higher side. On week days , no parking problem, otherwise park at Tesco Extra which is a short distance away and it is Free Parking!
