Very crowded place with local patrons. We were very lucky to get a small table by the stall to see how they make this amazing Koay Chiap. I don't normally eat this delicacy, but this one really tasted great with fresh ingredients. This place closes quite early, so you will want to get here in the afternoon.

Koay Chiap is a duck, noodle soup and this Kimberley Street Hawker stall is popular and famous. When I heard about this dish and saw the queues at the stall, I was very keen to try it. I like duck meat, but this was my first experience of eating a complete duck meal (innards and an egg), but I'm so... More

Stumbled upon this place when we were looking for a place for a dinner and saw a long queue and decided to join the queue. The duck kway chap is okay. It could be better if the soup is hot enough and not lukewarm. The kway teow is not cooked long enough as they are still a bit hard.

We were looking for a dinner as some locals recommend us to turn left on the Kimberly street nearby and try the famous kwey chap. Then we found this crowded Kimberly Restaurant which serve Kwey Chap. Surprisingly the kwey chap was very good, the broth was rich of flavour, not fatty and fresh, even the dish contains full of pork... More

The Kuay Chap is so good one bowl is not enough!!! It's a bowl with everything - duck and pork mixture (meat, innards and everything) served with thin rice noodles. Broth is very thick and flavourful! The only downside is there are limited tables so be prepared to wait! Highly recommended if you're visiting, now no Kuay Chap will ever... More

They do served rice porridge and noodle. I prefer their rice n porridge. 😋 They put a lot of ingredient inside but some I don't eat. I just eat the duck, egg and intestine.

It was food galore for dinner and supper. Spoilt for choice. Durian was good too. Definitely a place to go for local food and fruits. Authentic Chee kor Theng Fried kway teow was good too

Great great great place for dinner. Although weather in penang is very very hot, we still never miss a night to visit this area! You sweat a lot eating here but it is a very satisfying. Ideal for one who love to eat duck and love to try other food surrounding....

This is the best Kway chap I have tasted so far with lots of different varieties of ingredients. One bowl costs RM8 which is more than the usual price but it gives the gastronomy satisfaction.
