Tried the Nasi Lengit with sambal fish. The rice itself doesn't have a rich taste, but the fish is very good. The waitress are very nice and they willingly explain the food to you.

The beef brisket sandwich was delicious and the lamb was pretty good. The staff weren't very vocal. Nice enough and responded to all requests but they didn't check on our table nor inquire why I hadn't really eaten the Jawi Laksa.

The food was fresh and different to what we had been eating which was lots of nyonya and hokkien food, so it was a surprise to find this little restaurant in Armenian Street. We only ate there twice, and still have more to try on the menu. The herb rice is lovely and so was the mango salad. Faultless service.

There was a big group ahead of us who had made a prior booking. We submitted our orders before they arrived, and waited. They got served all of the appetizers and mains, and by this time (50 min in) we had not received anything. They were then asked to select their rice - most of them picked the Tomato rice.... More

Right next to the Yap Kongsi temple, this is a great restaurant in a very nice space. Definitely try the jawi laksa house specialty!

This place is still our favourite in Penang, and on this visit we went 3 times in 6 days! We love the delicious food, the friendly service and the pleasant atmosphere, and just to add that it is very good value for money.

Stopped by on a rainy afternoon and ordered the "Must Try" Jawi Laksa and the Rice w/3 Vegetarian Options. Both choices were delicious. Best food we have had in Penang so far. Service was fast in a very quiet atmosphere.

Wow! Beautiful laksa lemak with tuna and mackerel flakes. It was beautifully fragrant and surprisingly light. We stopped by having visited Armenian street and the art there. We were unfortunately not that hungry when we arrived but will definitely be back when we are "empty" to sample the other dishes. Great service and the best laksa I have ever tasted.

Read most of the Review here and thought my eating experience would be bland. Look the food was not over the top with hot chillies nor were the sauces attacking my taste buds but I sure did enjoy my eating experienced . With the lamb, the laksa and the beef with rice accompanied by lime drinks it just was a... More
