My family and I received a very warm and sincere welcome. The ambience is lovely, and the place is cool and comfortable. All the food was great (including dessert) - if you are not sure, just ask them for their specials and you won't go wrong!

A friend of mine and I walked 2.3 km from our hotel here to try out this restaurant. We had the set for two with the fish dish cooked with snapper.

Its on the average note to me. There were some dishes were good such as the asam fish, chicken curry and the fried chicken. But the owner was very nice and hospitality was good. The place was small, may considering to call and reserve a table.

Just love the idea of going to someone's house for Nyonya food. We were greeted by a young cheerful boy and felt so welcome. The food is worth waiting for especially the curry chicken, Sambal Hae Bee and Assam fish. The curry gravy is thick and full of flavors ! Every dish is unique and wish our stomachs could eat... Food was tasty and worth it. Fish was fresh. Liked the otak2 lots. The 2 pax set can be eaten by 3-4pax (we couldn't finish it). Service is ok. Noisy during lunch hour. Limited tables only. Clean toilet.

Had been meaning to try Nonya food and was not disappointed. Took the tripadvisor advice and booked ahead. Just as well as a few people were turned away whilst we dined on the set menu. Our daughter cannot handle chilli so manager suggested the fish be done with Sweet and sour sauce. Delicious. Also worth mentioning chicken kapitan, Clear soup... More

First of all, ensure you make reservations - the place will be packed! Also be mindful of other guests who have made reservations for the next time slot, so sitting here for hours will not do :). Highly recommended: ju hu char, kari kapitan (the gravy is oh so fragrant and good - I think this is their best dish!),... More

Ivy's was, I think, the first place to open on this quiet sidestreet that has, in the last few years, developed into quite a little strip of upmarket eateries. It was recommended to me by a friend who lives nearby on my last visit a few years ago (and my friend's a chef - doesn't eat anywhere, much less recommend... More

A good friend of mine drove me to this traditional Nyonya restaurant and boy, they did not disappoint! The food was as far as I was concerned as genuine as it gets for a Nyonya cuisine and so immensely scrumptious! The 'fried prawn' was so crunchy - melts like butter and the chicken curry was something else!!! Too yummy!! Oh... More
