5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

This cafe is situated in one of the Georgetown Heritage Hotels (a group of truly marvellous restoration projects in the gorgeous historic centre) and has a comfortable, relaxed vibe to it. Perfect for a quiet lunch or coffee if (like was in our case) the sun is getting just a little too scorching. If you do drop by, though, I... More

I had lunch there yesterday. A lovely comfy oasis in the heart of historic George Town. Beautifully restored heritage building with stunning, elegant boutique hotel attached. Felt very welcomed by the staff as I got there. Was given a cool cloth box to keep my bags in rather than chuck them on the floor or clutter up chairs. Got a... More

This cafe has a small and nice garden outside with a relaxing and beautiful ambiance. Read good reviews hence decided to try it out. Ordered the local food, nasi lemak and laksa. Taste was mediocre, nothing special but quite expensive. Service was also average.

I went for breakfast here every day that I was in Penang. It has the best coffee under lovely shady foliage. What a great way to start the day.

Stayed at the Muntri Mews..heard about the food. Decided to give breakfast a shot. Mum had Nasi Lemak while I had Roti Chanai. Mine came with chicken curry. We both felt the meal was average and not worth the high price. But others seem to rate it highly so it could be just us.

Sit here and watch the world go by along Jalan Muntri while enjoying your laksa and relief from the hot Penang sun. As good as the reviews say.

This is a lovely little place with great reasonably priced food and friendly staff. We tried and would recommend the laksa lemak, beef rendang and ayam perchik. For dessert, the Pengat Pisang was lovely. Be sure to try to fruit juices.

Had fried egg with ham and baked beans for breakfast here. It was lovely especially the baked beans. Toasts were crunchy going nicely with delicious blueberry jam which I was willing to pay extra for. My friend had salmon bagel. She said the bread was a bit hard but overall was good. A bit pricey but was worth it.

Fresh while keeping to the local flavours. We stayed at their boutique hotel (Muntri Mews) during this outing. We had our breakfast, lunch and dinner on 3 separate days. The cafe is small, it probably can sit around 50-60 people at one time. Cozy and quaint were the words that came to me. They have an open terrace where you... More

Not our cheapest meal, average price. We had the share platter as well as a satay plate and this was enough for 4. We ate outside with a fan and it was a good temperature. Service was good and toilets were clean.
