Well, my food experiences in 16 days traveling through Malaysia were in general fantastic, but this is a place we really enjoyed and visited twice in 2 days (1 x lunch and 1 x dinner). Don't scare yourself with the long queues. The trick is to arrive 45 minutes before closing. Very good value for money, and a cozy setting... More

Our family of 7 agree unanimously that this was the best meal of our Penang trip. We had dinner there on a Friday night, and we were lucky to get a table immediately when we reached there at 6.10pm. The food was amazing. Our favourite dish was the assam stingray, which was superb! We had a hearty meal and our... More

A very unassuming restaurant serving authentic quality Asian dishes. Service is both quick and friendly even though we arrived at peak time we only waited a few minutes to be seated. Pricing was equally as good, several dishes and drinks for 5 people was under RM $200 and we all left full. I look forward to our next visit.

Penang is famous for food. After living here a while I'd like to clarify. Penang has tons of places to eat. A whole lot of them are just not that good. Deep fried food tastes amazing but once you decide you don't want to die or turn into a 500 pound fatty because rice and noodles are literally the only... More

Wonderful chinese restaurant near Chukia lubah. Simple, but not as simple as Penang Street food. Very good food. The thing is that there is a lot of queue. So, arrive early.

Came here with 2 other guests and ordered 4 dishes - 2 veg, 1 soup and prawns. All were very delicious and generous portions for medium size. It was already crowded when we came ard 6pm but thankfully we got a table. When we finised ard 720pm, there was a long queue outside! Come early, the food is good and... More

Arrived at 6:10 pm to find the place pretty full but we obtained a table outside on the pavement but this was a mistake as we were next to the entrance, within minutes we were surrounded by people queuing, bumping in our backs and nearly on the table. The food was of a good standard but not exceptional, twice cooked... More

Long queue and crowded, but people do not go there for the ambience. Their food is really tasty and fresh. Prices slightly more expensive than the cheapest street food alternatives, but still value for money. Highly recommended, try their tofu!

Food was good here, especially their Double Roasted Pork, Steamed 3 Eggs, and Assam Stingray Fish. Ma Po Tofu had too much bean paste in it, so wasn't authentic and was too salty. Staff discouraged me from ordering more dishes initially and said that there was too much food. When we wanted to add on in the midst of the... More
