We were told to be there by 6pm ie when they open for dinner. We got there at 610pm and got the last table. By 630pm there was a queue. With the new SOP, the tables are well spaced and the restaurant is clean. We...ordered the fried roast pork which is really yummy, stir fried potato leaves - a tad salty but flavorful, seafood tofu and the fried chicken which we saw almost every table ordered that, which was okay. Food was served within 10 minutes and overall really yummy experience. Will definitely make this a stop when I am in Penang next.More

This restaurant has now been well established and is renowned for its "choo char" (or food cooked to order). However, the restaurant takes no reservation and if you are patient, join the long queue and wait. Most dished are excellent. Order any dish from the...menu and you won't be disappointed. For dinner, be there at around 5 p.m. This restaurant accepts cash and cards. Fortunately, there is a pay car park right next to it. The restaurant is not air-conditioned and the dining area is clean. I visited the restaurant before the COVID lock down.More

Chinese Food. Some dishes were okay, some not so good. Seating on wooden stools not very comfortable.

A very popular place for tourist. The restaurant serves Chinese family style dishes. Fried sio bak is one of their signature dish. Portion a bit small. Not a bad choice for tourist.

We knew you needed to book, we’d heard there’s always line ups. Now we know why. Food selection is of a wide variety and with interesting combinations. The food is of a high quality in a very clean shop lot environment. Staff are helpful and...friendly. Come again they said... and we will.More

Our dinner at Tek Sen was excellent. We arrived at 5:30pm for an early dinner, and good thing we did! As soon as we were seated we saw the queue become very lengthy in a hurry. We had the daily prawn special as well as...sweet and sour chicken, both of which we ate every bite. The prawns were a little pricey, but were the size of a baby's fist- so good. Don't be surprised if you are seated with others at a shared table if you are a couple, as the staff fills every seat to serve as many guests as possible- this can be fun and lead to some unexpected conversation. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Georgetown, Tek Sen does not disappoint!More
