We decided to order ala carte as chef’s menu has unknown ingredients and we have too many dietary quirks. The food is innovative with creative twists yet delicious. The prawn, potato, baby shrimps and duck eggs were recommended entrees. The minced pork, spring chicken and...More

we came across Gen on a foodie’s blog when we were desperately searching for a decent place for dinner in a rainy night (that made our plan changed). Saw the photo and convinced by the positive comments here. I decided to give it a go....More

It is a modern take on Malaysian, Nyonya or more accurately Fusion cuisine. Every dish has a twist in it - curried mayo, citrus mayo, soy-chili herb and XO sauce. Overall the appetizers, the mains and the desserts.

Food was nice and full of surprises with Malaysian characters, first class fine dine experience. Tends to be strong seasoning (some dishes are quite spicy but massively toned down from traditional cooking already). Interesting bar table setting (with people dining at different pace) - slightly...More

Fine dine price, but the environment is a bit lack as it's a long bar in front of the kitchen, maybe other people will like this though. All the serving were great overall. I especially love the "ginger flower" - refreshing, tasty, special. When we...More
