The food was okay - it wasn't bad. But don't expect too much. We came on Sunday night 7.30pm. Food came within 5 minutes.

Yes, Ipoh chicken rice is famous, this shop seems to be famous. However, very disappointed with the quality, service, cleanliness and hygiene. - The service was bad as we waited and keep reminding the worker to take our order, but they were emotionless and keep asking us to wait. - The cloth they use to wipe the table seems never... Ipoh is a city (or town) in Peninsular Malaysia that is reasonably well known among Malaysians and Singaporeans for its pomelos, "buah pala" and well, "tauge ayam" - literally translated as "beansprouts chicken". We chanced upon this restaurant and paid about 80 Ringgit (approx US$20) for a small plate of scrawny and bony chicken pieces, 1 plate of beansprouts, 4... More

We ate at this rival across the street to Lou Wong after saw full tables everywhere inside the Lou Wong restaurant. Tried the famous Ipoh kai see hor fun and the verdict - noodle and bean sprouts are really delicious, unfortunately the steamed chicken meat is 'hard' and not smooth at all. No wonder the Lou Wong is fully packed!... More

We reach there almost 11pm. Order Ipoh Hor Fun plus steam chicken and famous Ipon bean sprouts. The bean sprouts is delicious, but the hor fun are salty. The steam chicken was not overcook and too hard.

This restaurant is a lesser known restaurant compared to Lau Wong next door. This is the third time I come to this place and in fact is a more preferred choice by me. Besides the famous taugeh chicken, one must try their delicious curry chicken. I also like the white coffee egg custard here.

We came by to try chicken rice with bean sprout and it probably was the best we had. Located in the lane with plenty of food options. Prices at par with most similar eateries. Definitely worth a try.

We tried the tauge ayam and fishball. Chicken meat and fishball very tasty. However, fishball soup abit salty. Seller very honest, we forgot to bring our stuff there and we go to collect the nextday. Everything still intact. Thanks to the owner of the restaurant.
