We came here for lunch and end up eating the scones too!. Too difficult to resist ! The smell of these freshly baked scones served with fresh cream and strawberry jam is divine. The roasted beef was also amazing.. you need to come early for lunch it seems this place has improved a lot since the 90s. We came here... More

We were informed that this is one of the only places making their own scones! It's a lovely old building with a beautiful garden to sit in and enjoy an English-style cream tea! Very enjoyable.

Sure, the tea sets are pricey at around RM30, but treat it as an entrance fee to explore the beautiful English mansion and its surrounding gardens.

Serves tea whole day. That tells you they welcome guests for tea anytime. The garden is good for a quiet chat with nice tea and scones.

i just back form my 3D2N trip staying there. the environment make you forget you were in Malaysia, althought not much facilities but the staff is friendly, serve welcome drink to us. When we check out, they prepared us a small pack of sandwich and fruit which warm our heart. Such wonderful service. It is a bit far from happening... More

I arrived about an hour before dinner service started, and so killed some time with a tea set in the parlor area. I don't normally drink tea but the tea set was still very nice, with sweet, tasty cookies and a really good fragrant tea. Once dinner service began, I ordered the salmon salad as an appetizer, and the beef... More

Nice and lovely place to have afternoon tea especially in the garden area. Unfortunately the prices of food here is exorbitant. For a fraction of the price, you can get nicer afternoon tea in nearby resorts / hotels.

We went to enjoy the ambience knowing that their menu was very limited for vegetarians - we loved the bar and the sitting rooms they have which are very reminiscent of the British Raj.. The food was bland but delicious in its own way .. the staff did their best to cater to our needs and made dished for us... More

The garden is beautiful (apart from the fake red telephone box). The scones are probably the best I've ever tasted - the biscuits also well worthwhile (separate choice on menu). It's also good to be slightly away from the noisy main road.

Thank David P
