Food was good, price affordable and most importantly, service was good. Fortunately, we managed to enjoyed a live band show while having dinner. Nice place by the beach to chill!

Please avoid this place. It was shocking. We couldn’t eat a single piece of shrimp and vegetables. Managed to eat only potatoes. When we said it’s impossible to eat the food the server told us to deal with it and laughed. Because we were two...women, we didn’t argue as only men were around. We paid and left.More

When we’re supposed to be on our planned restaurant to go for early dinner, it’s closed and under renovation. We totally messed our plans, thus we just kept looking at a place nearby and somehow with good ambience. When we reached to this place, we...thought okay good location. And when we ordered, I literally checked right away how’s the reviews and was a bit shocked that we’re at the wrong place but we gave it a try. So we ordered their Signature fried rice with Prawn and Satay, overall we are full and the food not that bad at all. So I Guess, if it’s not local food then maybe it’s major bad food. And also, their service is the terrible one. So if you’re looking for okay food with good location and willing to spend on this place, then try if not - not recommended to go.More

Some of the glowing reviews were misleading. I don't even know where to start with this place. Ordered mushroom soup and it was salty. Complained and was given a 'new cup' - which in actual fact was the original soup diluted with hot water. They...don't even bother changing to a new cup or replace the used soup spoon. And the cup had a rather large chip on the lip! Oh and the garlic bread? It's just normal bread, poorly buttered. Then we ordered the Surf & Turf. They ran out of Rib Eye so substituted it with lamb chop. The meat was so tough and rubbery that it was hardly edible. The so called King Prawns were not what it claimed to be. It was tasteless and chalky - a sure sign of it not being fresh. And the squid strips - just a mess of not fresh squid sliced thinly and pan fried in black pepper sauce. And all this crappy food costs us RM67! Disappointing doesn't even begin to describe. I'm absolutely livid that they have the gall to continue charging exhorbitant prices for such poor excuse for food. Definitely would not recommend to anyone to try this place.More

Since we didn’t have data connection we couldn’t search from tripadvisor, we had a very bad experience after long time. The restaurant is next to the beach, very good location. We didn’t expect much but we thought it would be average. I hope my experience will help...other people. You , Just prefer for drink, coffe, coke...do not prefer for any food. Not average,it is not eatable. We were very hungry since we didn’t eat lunch and chose the place because we wanted to eat simple but not very expensive sea food. The name of the restaurant is sea food and we thought at least it will be OK. We ordered mixed sea food which is around 12$ and average price in other restaurants around.First, the fish kinds are not the same as they promised.Second, all them were burnt.I just tried the things in the plate and left most of them. The second plate was sea food noodle which was in a dense red mud souce, some burnt calamari, octopus , certainly not eatable. We were tired and very hungry, we still thought it is a local food style (we have been living in Indonesia for two months and we know what local food ) and tried to eat something. We didn’t finish even half of the plate, just digged the plate.I am still angry about myself that i didn’t say anything and want back our money. The worst ( not eatable ) food I ever tasted in a restaurant, including street food. The staff was OK.More

My son, 16, said he could cook the steak better and the chef killed the steak a second time. We will not be returning.

We had some grilled seafood, fried noodles and lamb chop. Food tastes below average. Quite pricey but I guess we're paying for the beach front views and atmosphere. Won't come back.

So we stayed literally beside the restaurant, at the sandy beach sea view room. The setting was nice, by the beach and convineant as well. The first time we ate there was some french fries and sausages which were pretty nice tbh so we thought...of giving the food a try for our last dinner at the island. We ordered almost everything seafood based. Mussels, prawns, crab and squid etc. We took alittle but of everything to taste it out.First of all the service, wow. It's like they didn't want us there at all. We called them to come take our oder but it was like they were totally ignoring us, not glancing our way. We had to take the menus from the counter and there was no form of 'sorry' cause of that as well. A very unwelcome start. Now coming to food, i wish we had taked the welcome as a sign and ran away but alas we started to eat. The food tasted like, well tbh nothing. Nothing special at all, everything was bland, like the chef forgot to put any sort of seasoning in the dishes. That explosive flavour that you expect from biting into those succulent seafood delicacies wasn't there. They kinda ruined the perfect trip in a way as it was our last night and last dinner there.More

Warning: Health and Money Hazard A good setting by the beach with horrible service and inedible food. Ordered 200g Mussels, 500g Seabass and Iced Lemon Tea. The mussels was burned to crisp. The Seabass was only average at most. The Iced Lemon Tea tasted like...something packeted you can just purchase from any supermarket and do it yourself. We even had a little 'feline' guest that joined us during our meal there proving the place's unhygienic setting and lack of care. I guess the only positive thing about the restaurant is its location by the beach. Warning to all travellers/diners/patrons/backpackers, this place is not worth your buck there are other cheaper and better options down the street. Note: The time we visited wasn't even their peak hoursMore

This place looks nice from the street side, but when you get in it is very run down with uncomfortable seats. Service is poor and the food was terrible. We ordered chicken satay and chicken in spicy Thai sauce. Satays are one of my favourite...Asian foods and I have eaten them tens of times all over Asia and outside in ethnic restaurants. This was the fattiest and chewiest portion I have ever got. My husband ordered from the grill the Thai type portion, which was supposed to be chicken. What he got was bones and gristle, not even a spoonful meat to eat. It could not have been a chicken because of the size of the bones and the fact that the little meat he found tasted like game. The portion was one of the most expensive ones in the restaurant so we were expecting something else. This restaurant is a non-alcohol one and you are not allowed to bring your own drinks or food with you. Still one of the tables was occupied by a group of South Asian men drinking heavily from their own whisky and vodka bottles. Staff did not do anything to even keep their noise on a tolerable level. The only good thing about this restaurant is that it is on the beach.More
