The location is absolutely unbeatable. Chenang beach is right in front, the interior design is vintage and somewhat cozy. The food (breakfast) has a large portion which you can share with a standard taste of intercontinental taste and the best of all is the coffee....I had 2 cups of cafe latte. A minor feedback is the staff. The house is not full, only 4 tables were occupied with roughly 12 people but the staff looked overwhelmed already. Cannot imagine if all tables are occupied. This lovely restaurant is located on cenang beach. There is a great team of staff who are friendly and make you feel welcome. It had a nice ambience with cool background music. I ordered the Cluck Cluck (chicken with mash & veg) and although the...chicken was cooked perfectly and very tasty, the portion was very small and i left still feeling hungry. Probably better as a lunch destination rather than main meal in the evening. Please note resturant doesnt serve alcohol - didnt bother me, but may disappoint others.More

Nice place on the beach! They have breakfast all day, the western styles breakfast are recommended. Also good pancakes and juices! Nice and friendly staff :) came here three times in a few days! Unfortunately no alcohol, but still a good breakfast/brunch/lunch place.

Nice cafe right on the each. Had breakfast there every second morning. Service was great and prices average

I would highly recommend this place for breakfast/desserts other food looks delicious as well, setting is lovely as well, very chilled. Quite cheap to which is bonus.!!

A vase with alive fish is placed on each table. We asked the waiter how long do they usually keep each fish in those conditions. The answer was “those are the new ones”. A fish is normally kept in a vase without food, any air...or other facilities for surviving are not provided. The sunlight and terrible conditions kill the fish slowly. After the fish dies they just replace it with the new one. Would you enjoy having your meal while watching this silent suffering?More

Staff are very friendly attentive but not overly. Fun place to be in very spacious and quite lively.

We had spent our Christmas Day on a yacht cruise so we were all very tired but looking for somewhere nice for Christmas Dinner. Huggin Hippo is right on the beach at Pantai Cenang. The food is delicious, drinks are icy cold and the staff...are fabulous. The decor is quirky and the desserts were amazing. We were a group of 8, 4 adults and 4 teenagers and we all loved our meals. During our stay in Langkawi we were here three times. Just because it’s nearby the beach and food is decent. Every time either me or my husband had to wait for the meal when other already has finished theirs. It’s not fun to watch when...you are hungry :-) Not so good service I think. Do not visit here if you want to eat here at the same time with your company!More

The four of us ordered 1) Fish, it tasted old and it turned out to be frozen although the restaurant is located ON the beach 2) Char kway teow, it tasted nothing like local char kway teow 3) Nasi blues with satay which was VERY...sweet. I gave a constructive feedback to the waiter named Izwan but he said that everyone likes the food and that I’m wrong. He also said that “nobody sells fresh fish in Langkawi island”.More
