The ladies at the donut stall are so lovely! Best pisang goreng on the island from my opinion, they're very crunchy just how I like them. We also had lunch here which is nice. Service is friendly even with the language barrier. We would definitely...return.More

We took a roughly 30min trip here from our hotel, although we've just eaten lunch at a local street stall. The ambience under a simple metal shed, the donuts, the kopi, the fried bananas, the sound of the rain (yes, it was pouring like crazy),...the greenery around you, the occasional vehicle passing by...makes the trip all worthwhile!More

Having stayed 5 days on Langkawi, we had driven past this place a few times. No tourists there when we went in at 1pm for lunch. Simple menu, but very very good. The banana donuts outside are great too! Very reasonably priced. Would recommend and...our kids also ate everything!More

Stopped by the Kak Hawa restaurant today to buy some fried treats based on the other reviews we found and oh my! We bought 4 different flavored donuts at 0,50RM each which were great. Still warm and with great taste. Some tasted banana and another...coconut. It's a must try!More

Great stand with fried Malay sweet delicacies "MANJA" next to Kak Hawa: kuih, small ketupats filled with sticky rice-sambal ikan terie), comfort foid noodle bowl with kind of a besengeh sauce and veggies, AND THE BEST DONUTS( I never liked donuts but this is different,with...a subtle banana or pandan flavour...just great!) locals know to find them ....just drive by car or scooter and use the KAK HAWA address . You won't regret the ride and you will take some stuff home/to you hotel. Their drinks are nice too- open from 12 till 19h.More

This restaurant is probably the best in the Langkawi. Prices are very good, food is excellent. And they have the best donuts and fried bananas. OMG, it was sooo good. Hope, one day came back :-)

So far have been 5 day around the island and this is far the best place we have eaten. Got chicken with rice. And donuts for dessert.

Omg the taste of the food is amazing! Stopped by accident and found the most delicious sour beef soup with a lot of meat at only 5 RM. The fried rice is also very tasty and costs only 4 RM. While eating, I saw a...lot of locals stopping and shopping some fried treats. They offered us samples and end up buying a bag full of donuts and local dishes for our next morning. One of the best places I have eaten in Langkawi.More

Fun fun fun and yes I’d go back. This is more of a food stand than a restaurant. We sat at a recently used table and it was never cleared during our time there. We ordered fried banana balls, fried banana chips, breaded spicy fish,...breaded hotdog, donuts (with a banana flavor) and some others unknown things. It was fun and the staff was kind and spoke English. There was no water or juice available. I’m not sure if they ran out or what others were drinking... it’s worth a quick stop as after trying to order several times from the restaurant part we weren’t able to “figure it out”More

Yumm such amazing donuts. They even had yummy banana donut holes which were my favorite. So good and it’s ran by two sisters. One bakes and one cooks. Our host that we stayed with recommended it and it did not let down!!

This local roadside restaurant is an excellent find. We were saying at The Andaman resort 20min away and came here for lunch to escape the overpriced resort food! We got chicken fried rice, fried noodles, a green veg with egg, and omelet, which was probably...the highlight! Accompanied by delicious sauces and a broth and we had a great teh tarik. They also have a sweet stall and yes, the doughnuts are amazing! A must get is the ‘seri muka’ which is pandan jelly on top of sweet coconut sticky rice, simply delicious! And everything was so cheap.More
