I don't care much for coffee until a friend intro Doi Chaang to me. It's pricey but it beats paying for Starbucks.
Their signature coffee is excellent. So is their matcha tea and cakes. And there is wifi !
I am fan of coffee.. always want to try something new.. passed by this cafe many times.. there was not much review and nobody talks about Doi Chaang..one evening happened to walk pass the cafe late evening saw many ppls, I walked in the cafe,...wow!! The coffee aroma blew me off..and decided on latte.. this is good !!if u a fan like me.. go and try!! Outlets!! At holiday villa..More
I spent a week here last December and this was the place to find in the afternoon.
Naturally, I came back for a second visit. Lukewarm coffee, not aromatic enough either. Quite a letdown. I think the standard has dropped.
Overrated and expensive coffee!
This coffee is worse than those from the local kopitiam!
Being grossly overpriced (maybe because of the community farming throw back), i am unsure how it is rated top 1% in the world in terms of coffee beans. I am no...expert in coffee, but if the coffee (black, hot no sugar) tasted like hot sour water with no coffee aroma is considered best in the world, i rather stick to my local kopitiamMore
Been here quite a few times actually.
Love the coziness and the calming vibe of the place.
Always very friendly staff who instantly brings you a glass of water once you sit even if you have not ordered.
They have very good coffee. Besides that,...I'm also a fan of their Matcha beverages. They aren't stingy with it unlike alot of other places.
For the cakes,I love their Hazelnut Crêpe Cake. The last time I was there I saw new stuff added to the menu like waffles and sandwiches and even an Earl Grey Dome. Will try it next time I visit I guess.
This place is good to just sit and unwind. Yes their stuff is on the pricey side especially the cakes and all. But it's a nice once in a while treat.
Also they've got wifi and power sockets too. Makes up for everything 😂More
It's quite expensive but if you get used to the price of Starbucks, it should be ok. Basically they don't run promotion like Starbucks so don't expect cheaper cup if you buy more from them.
However, the cafe is cozy and you can just relax...after the shopping spree in City Square.More
We visited Malaysia last week and stopped by waiting for our train to KL. didn't expected much when we order our coffee.
first one, we order cappuccino and i didn't mention was it hot or ice, and he served us hot, and i told him...that we need iced one, with smile upon his face he said that he will change VERY GOOD ONE. and then i asked about public telephone, because i need to make a call to a hotel we should stay, he informed me that there is no such a thing in the area and he offer me to call using his phone, really helpful.
me and my friends were so happy seeing those smile on their face all the time and willing to help, showed us what hospitality is. thank you very much for warm and friendly service Mr. Chris Dowson and Ms. Joyce Teo.
you both are awesome!!!!More
