Food quality and presentation is good. However, staff seem forever busy and frustrated. This is at 3pm+ and not even supposed to be peak meal time.

My go to restaurant when im here for business, relatively cheap if u know what to get. I always opt for the karaage (fried chicken) bento set. One of the little things that really impress is how they also serve sliced pears and baby octopus (chuka lidako). Now the baby octopus normally cost rm10 for a tiny entree serving back... More

Kinsahi is a gem of a restaurant that provides quality Japanese cuisine and very pocket friendly. Very nice ambience and especially love the "misty river" that let's you feel you are dining among the clouds. We over ordered a little for 2 pax which we can't help due to the attractive pricing and wolf down a delicious feast.

There are a few Kinsahi restaurants in Johor Bahru and they serve rather expensive but serves average Japanese fare. Last month, we went there for lunch and sashimi (salmon & tuna) which was actually good & fresh. The sukiyaki was mediocre, I could find better ones elsewhere. The grilled squid was a bit too hard, the teriyaki salmon head was... More

Orders are served very fast. But the noodles doesn't taste well. Sometimes it taste bland & I have to resort to soya sauce. Tried on 3 separate occasions & I raise my hand giving up on this eatery forever. Price is okay & I will consider it as fast food so that my expectations could be lowered

My all-time fave whenever I visit KSL. Service is good and food usually doesn't disappoint. Nice and clean ambience. Attentive staff who serve with a smile! Affordable jap food.

Good choice of Japanese food, from sushi, to shashimi to Bento , to shabu shabu. Large portion, nicely served. Beautiful ambience with a made made lake inside. But they charge for Green tea or water.

We never suspect that there will be a pond in the middle of the restaurant. Yes. The food is nice, and the ambiance is great! The staffs are friendly.

Never regret this decision, ignore all the rest and come in here. Although its on the higher end side, your money will be worth it and the tummy will be happy:) In a modern setting, eat the worries away. Try out the huge variety of sushi and be blown away.
