The location is behind Mc Donald's. Good place for local Malay cuisine (mostly ikan bakar, sea food). There's one or two stores operates by Chinese as well. Good for those staying nearby and prefer a local taste (instead of fastfood chain) within walking distance.

Check out the stalls; Tip-top ("ikan bakar"/grill fish Johor style & chilly crab), Geylang Serai (honey baby-squid, black pepper clams). U will be spoiled for choices; fair price.

Common seafood served. Nothing special here. Please don't park your car on the private land in front of the place. You need to pay RM2.00 on parking fee while you may park your car beside the road alongside of the place without paying the fee. Still enjoy the delicious food served.

1. A lot of eateries to choose from. I love the one on the very right side. 2. The food is tasty. 3. Not much of seafood to choose from. 4. Malay cooking and dishes. 5. Value for money!

Better to visit in the evening as most food stalls will open. Some of the eateries had been in operation since 35 years ago from the hawker centre nearby the Sultanah Aminah General Hospital. Must try are the ice-kacang, sambal fried manta ray, poached morning glory & octopus with sweet & spicy sauce. Hygiene is ok, many stalls to choose... More

Tip top ikan bakar was awesome! Succulent stingray grileld to perfection with delicious sambal generously poured all over it! We also had the crunchy baby crabs. As for desert, we ordered leng chi kang and bubur cha cha. I felt it was kind of pricy to pay rm11 for just these 2 desserts.

This is our second visit. During the first we had the same dishes too, which explained why we think that foods here was great. We especially love cakoi bakar from Restoran Ayong, which was made from smoked cakoi with kuah kacang and calamnasi juice on top. Do try the dish if you had a chance to visit. It was a... More

It was so crowded with many stalls serving the same type of seafood. I decided to just choose a shop without much crowd. It was yummy and price was reasonable. If a non-crowded place tasted so yummy, probably a super crowded place must be yummy too. I don't like crowd, so for people like me, then try to eat around... More

While you are in Johor Bahru, do visit Tepian Tebrau! Try the ais jelly and ABC at the first stall, and the satay at MOS stall. MOS satays are very tasty and the rice cakes are cooked in leaves, not plastic. The only thing I'm not happy about is the parking problem there. Oh, and the tauhu bakar at the... More

The place is crowded but food is nothing fantastic : just an indication that crowds do not necessarily means great fare in Johor Bahru. This place is messy, with cars parked all over and blocking traffic flow. Worst of all, it is utterly FILTHY, FILTHY, FILTHY. Can't believe that the JB City Council or Health officials have not shut it... More
