Le Melville is a very good restaurant in Diego Suarez, with a menu based on European and French cuisine. Very good food and service are coupled with a fantastic sea view from the terrace.

The restaurant is attached to one one of the best hotels in the town. They serve international food, with local taste. Very good quality and prices. The view on the sea is beautiful, service very attent.

We had lunch here on a visit to Diego. The deck overlooks the ocean - a stunning location to relax in the heat of the day. The food was lovely, plenty of choice and very reasonable prices. Drinks reasonably priced too Great service and wonderful food.

Whilst working in the town recently I ate here twice after being so impressed the first time. It is difficult to really fault this restaurant as the setting is fantastic. It would have been even better to eat there during the day for the views over the Indian Ocean. I had the calamari and have to say it was some... More

This is our "go-to" place to eat in Diego. My wife won't go anywhere else. Diverse menu and nightly specials -- seafood, pasta, duck, ribs, plus beef and some classic Malagasy dishes. Good cocktails, appetizers and desserts too (the flan coco is my favorite).

Truly excellent food, friendly staff, and priced very sharply. Worth every penny! Sit on the deck outside to enjoy the city sounds on the far background, and the light hush of the sea lapping the bayfront close by.

Just had Sunday Breakfast there and loved it! Plenty of fruits, bread, jam... with a wonderful panoramic view on the Diego Bay! Definitly recommend to go there!

Food was very good. Limited card for the lunch, amazing choice for the dinner and real croissant for the breakfast. All is fresh. And homemade icecream was just amazing!

Having read some of the reviews here I was expecting to be underwhelmed by the restaurant Le Melville - fortunately I had no need to be concerned! No, it is not the cheapest. However, it is definitely the most beautifully situated on a balcony overlooking a private beach, clean and pleasant, and with a breathtaking view over the entire bay... More

Just a few minutes from the city centre by 'toko-toko'. The place looks wonderful, just over the bay of Diego-Suarez. The food was very good and not too expensive. Nevertheless some of the dishes were unavailable.
