Excellent food. Slightly pricey but it is in a touristy location overlooking the old port. Service was very friendly. The only criticism is that they did not serve Arabic or French coffee, and the cappuccino was out of a packet. The waitress did pre-warn us...More

Very well located with a beautiful view on the harbor, this restaurant was a great experience. The ambiance was warm and cozy. The food was excellent. The sea bass was cooked in salt crust and was absolutely delicious. Great place to go!

Located next to the historical sites, its an easy sell to tourists. The seafood was pricy and very fishy, felt like a classic tourist trap. We ate 4 prawns, calamari, hommus,2 baked potatoes for USD60. They were pushing the fish for USD80 per kg.

As good as expected. Food is tasty and keeps its quality over the years. It is a place to eat in once you are in the city. I highly recommend the place.

This place serves delicious Lebanese food. We ordered a variety of dishes and everything was good. The settings are beautiful with a view to the little port and the boats. Prices were reasonable. We came for lunch and did not need a reservation.

We were told by our friend this was his favourite restaurant in Beirut. It is also now mine as well. Sat in a pretty harbour, the minute you walk in you get a feel for how it was when all the film stars frequented there....More

Pepe Abed is still alive. As for the other two questions, I am not aware of any.
